I'll bet Bonne and I would have a bunch of fun together and no fighting over the 'finds'.

I'll have to take some time tomorrow to go look at blogs. I'm a little behind on my blog reading.

I'm crocheting some dishcloths and starting a rug for the bathroom.

I just finished embroidering two pillowcases.

Monica, you missed my reply that I did receive the thread. The variegated one is awesome..you did a great job with that...now you gotta do more variations..see I would drive you nuts if you lived down the street..I'd be wanting to card something different everyday to see what it would look like.

All of the colors are just great..I think I have all but 3 or 4 of the colors at this point.

I'm so glad you got away and had lunch with Carol and found some goodies at the thrift store!

Steph, Sorry I missed your reply! I am glad you like the variegated silk thread! I have to be honest, I would LOVE it if you lived next door to me!! You are a great source of inspiration to me! The only down side I can see to it is that we might not get much of anything else done!!,but oh it would be so much fun! Maybe someday you will make it out to Arizona!!! I have lost track of how many colors I have now and Grace still has 3 more that I don't have plus all of the color combinations of variegated thread I could come up with! The possibilities are endless!!!!!

Do I dare say that my mini-aprons are happily on their way to Kathie's! How crazy it has been here! I am having to push so hard to keep on top of things!

Oh Ruth, I have been laughing myself silly, I thought I read that you were crocheting and starting a run for the bathroom. I was thinking why is she running for the bathroom....dahhhh.
I swear girls I can't spell right or read right today.

Jess, yipppeee, skippee to see you again. So are we going to see pictures of your adventures after a bit......

Bonne and Ronna, we would so have to have pictures of you two thrifting together, or a video....I am thinking video.

Hey Monica, have we heard any news yet on the land front, been thinking about you on that one.

Steph we get 300 strips every 90 days. Which is really really good compared to some. If you are on insulin like Dan is you get more. Some brittle diabetics only get enough to use 2 strips a day, which is so damn wrong. I am grateful we have the help but things just keep adding up.

Whoa, if we did 13 pages a day I would really have to start paying attention. That is a major challenge right now.....I swear this brain of mine wants to stay in lala land lately. LOL, but true.

Autumn, I am sorry you lost one of your girls, what a major bummer girl.

Monica, how fun that you got to go thrifting with Carol and lunch, an adult lunch. YIppeee for you two.

Monica found some great skirts, especially "THE ONE". Hopefully she'll have Isaiah take a picture and show it off to you all. I found 2 cups, 2 movies, a B.J Thomas CD, and a couple of Danielle Steele audio books....I was THRILLED with my finds...Monica and I headed to different directions at the shop so there was no hair pulling, kicking, and scratching going on between us....well, not this time, anyway!!!. LOL!

Monica, I had a ball! See you soon.....

Monica, oh.....contrare..we WOULD get a lot done..LOL It would be so great to have someone to network with..it seems to bring lots of new found energy remembering my past experiences...Why do we have to live soooooo far away from one another?! I think that's the hardest part for me being on a forum...meeting people that you click with and know would be a great thing if you joined forces together.

Let's see..Autumn asked what everyone was working on these days?...I'm working on a wall hanging with a spiritual theme of Love.

Hey Carol Sue, well, I'm a bit relieved. I had a much lower number stuck in my head.

Ruth, I am still packing things into your box and I am having so much fun! There is still some room left and since it's a flat-rate box I am using up every square inch! I'll give you a sneak peak if you want!!!

Monica, I am sure I've set the world record on how heavy a flat rate box can be..LOL woohoo.. I had one packed with heavy books to the point that they tryed to say it was too heavy..LOL Nope, it says flat rate, remember..they reluctantly collected my money since they couldn't refuse it.

Ronna, where are you?...I need more pictures emailed. I love having a personal shopper..hehehe Yes, I know, I'm just a smarta$$..can't help it that she finds the best stuff. Ok, just being silly...are you ok??

Naomi, I heard on the news last night that there are 2200 people coming to the military base...I've already put in my request to the "cosmic kitchen" for your home to sell FAST to one of them.

Good morning, ladies~

Monica~I can't wait to get that box. I am so excited. I would love a sneak peak if you have a chance.

Steph~I'm getting some of Monica's wonderful thread and I can't wait. How are things with you. I can't wait to see your studio when it's all finished. I'm sure you can't either. Then you can be in Somerset's Where Women Create. That would be so great.

Carol Sue~too funny~no run to the bathroom~just a rug for the bathroom. I did get a few dishcloths and a dishtowel finished yesterday. I need to take some pictures and update my neglected blog. It's been busy here.

Naomi~I also heard on the news of the influx of people to Florida. I do hope that one scoops up your house quickly and sells well.

I would love to find someone close to me who likes to do the things I do. No one around that I know of. People usually think I'm crazy.

Morning ladies, it isn't starting out too well for me, but I'm waiting for my pain meds to kick in. Zan and I were planning on visiting an old friend today, who has been home recovering from pneumonia and a collapsed lung, but when I got up I felt like my brain was collapsing. Just the usual sinus crap, and the other stuff I have to put up with. We rescheduled our visit for Monday, which will give me more time to put together a little get well assortment of items.

Cold and clammy here today. Last night I made a little baby quilt top, it's quite colorful, very simple, I'm going to hand quilt it and put it in my etsy shop. I love to hand quilt, I can do it even when I'm feeling lousy, especially if it is on a small piece. I figure today is going to be one of those days, not going to get a whole lot done, I figure laundry and a little quilting is going to be all I get done. But you never know, I'm just swilling down my second cup of coffee. Caffeine is a wonderful substance as far as I am concerned.

Okay, I'll check in later when my brainis functioning a wee bit better...

Karin there is a Coffee Cup swap over on the farm kitchen thread. And I was wondering if you have ever tried a Neti Pot for your Sinus? It has done wonders for mine and it is very simple to do. I use to not be able to lift my head up off a pillow some days and since I started using the thing It hasn't happened. It seems a bit wierd at first but really has helped me.
