Ruth, I will post a pic on my blog in a few minutes here! I just tried to list some things under Marketplace for sale and photobucket would not let me copy photos to post so I had to put them on my blog. I will go take a pic and put it up!

Monica- the fiber workshop was lots of fun! One of my good friends showed me some spinning techniques that I think I can manage. I know it sounds silly but it seems so difficult to manage all the finer points of tension and pulling and plying!!! I'm such a klutz anyway!!!!

I demo'd tatting and several ladies worked at it but decided it was too tedious for them.
Had several crochet demos- needle felting, tatting, spinning and hmmmm I think thats all.

Blessings,
Autumn

I do irrigate my sinus with something similar to a neti pot, it helps, but since I have had a chronic sinus infection for thirty years, it always seems a struggle for me to find relief. Thank you for the kind thoughts.

I made one catfood bag today that i'm going to list on etsy later today (if I find the camera cord). Then Zan and I went to the local food co-op and got some almonds to go with supper tonight. We also got some very nice coffee which I really enjoyed, except for the part when I spilled a lot of it down my front. I blame the plastic sippy top. We decided after that to just take a little backroad ramble, not any real green yet, but the people who live down the road apiece from me still have a sign in their yard which reads : WE DO NOT RENT PIGS. It is always amusing to me for some reason. I keep wondering who who want to rent pigs.

Now I'm sitting here checking out the forum and making yoyos. Waiting for inspiration to spur me into action here. My kitchen is in definite need of some sort of tornado. I'm feeling more like a fog bank, but maybe this second cup of coffee will get me moving. I can hope...

Yipee!! I am done with the play as of today. It came out super, but what a nightmare with some of the kids this time. Of course, the worst one was the principal's daughter. But I am done and not doing it anymore, so yay!! Now the trip to DC this week coming, and my obligations are DONE!! Looking forward to going back to Curves after school again, sewing more, and talking to you all!!

Autumn, great that you had a fiber workshop...and that you had fun doing it. Having ladies craft together is always a great way to spend your day.

Steph, hmmmmm, you a fiberholic, never girl.....lol

Monica, sent you an email.....

I could have sworn I read this yesterday only to realise, nope I hadn't, how in the world did I lose a day dang it.....

Raining and chilly here, thinking of Tuesday when I can pick up a few seeds for the garden to get them started, trying to figure out where in the world to put them. Tiny spaces need more room....lol.

Working on a tiny space in the sewing room for this slacker to do her minis.....and trying to get rid of dang it migraine. I think I must need an infusion of chocolate....I am sure that would take care of the problem.....

Carrie, Yes I did get your email that my blocks had arrived. I've just been such a cementhead lately I haven't been paying attention to everything....thanks for letting me know they arrived.

Chocolate is always a good idea, Carol Sue. and I hope it helps. Migraines are just the worst. Zan and I got a few seed packets too, but of course it is way too early to plant anything here, but it is fun to think about. I hope you feel better soon....

Autumn, I have always wanted to learn how to tat. Of course like most of the stuff in my life, I have misplaced my MaryaJane's Ideabook and her Stitching book. I know they are in my sewing room somewhere, at least I think that is the last place I saw them. I think tatting looks very elegant and I hope to figure it out one day.

Karin, they have a new procedure that they talked about on the news. They use a balloon type of device to expand the sinus cavity. The woman who had the surgery had problems all her life, but not anymore. I want to find the information, because if I ever get the chance, I want to have the procedure. I have had sinus infections all my life, and it really has affected my sinuses.

I found the article on it.

Hello, friends!

It was a busy Saturday. Long story short~my dog found a nest of baby squirrels and got into a fight with the mama squirrel. Very crazy while we were trying to work on the garden.

I have been working on some disclothes and they are coming out great. Now I am doing some placemats for a sway and then the rug.

Thank you, Sharon. That does sound promising. If I still had health insurance I would definitely consider it, and after five surgeries that is saying something for me. When I had to have a cat scan and an MRI of my brain a couple years ago the doctor commented that I had significant sinus damage. I kind of knew that. Ah well, I can dream about it!

Very cold and wet here today, my sinuses and my old bones are doing the old painpatrol two step. what a bore. Ah well, maybe I'll get a little sewing done. I need to make another pot of coffee. Coffee is very good medicine. For me, anyway.

Ruth, who won the Battle Squirrel? I really hate the little red squirrels because they like to eat the insulation off the wiring, but the gray squirrels around here look like tiny professional wrestlers to me, and they are so BOLD. I guess when I had outdoor cats they weren't quite so full of themselves, and full of every frigging mouthful of birdfood they can cram down their gullets. I was hoping maybe the wild turkeys who patrol the yard would develope a taste for squirrel, but that'll never happen. Of course I could always ask one of my gun happy neighbors, well just one specifically, if he'd like to come over for a squirrel slaughter. However that doesn't seem fair. I'm just waiting for the last of the snowbanks right near the front of my house to disappear, then i can check on the garden beds. I saw narcissus buds yesterday....

Right, off to the coffee...

I used to have a cat that caught squirrels and ate them. I didn't like it but a cat has to be real fast to catch those(barn cats) are the best.

I have to have my caffine fix in morning too Karin otherwise I cannot function.

I posted a pic of Sharon's four sacs go take a look they are really cute.

Karin~the dog won the battle. It was messy~the mom ended up leaving the babies and there was quite a bit of blood. My dog only had a little scratch on her nose. They were pretty fierce and you couldn't break them up. Pretty yucky.

Carrie~going to check out the sacs.
