Ruth, I did get your e-mail! I haven't had a chance to figure postage yet, but I will do it today and let you know! It has been very crazy here this morning and it is finally quieting down!

Ladies, please keep us in your prayers! Gary is going to talk to his boss about getting a bit of property from him and if we can, we could build our own place on it and it would be perfect! Hubby is talking about building a greenhouse too! We looked at this little piece of land just out of town here yesterday and it has tons of potential! It's hidden a bit, but not totally secluded! We would have enough space to have a decent size garden and room for the kids to play and maybe even some chickens!!!! We really don't have a lot of money to pay a lot for it and we don't even know if Gary's boss would want to sell it to us, but I am really praying it will work out! Gary's boss has some old mobile homes that he would probably be happy to get rid of and hubby said we could use them as frames to start building a place so we wouldn't be starting from scratch! It has power and water right by it and we shouldn't have any trouble getting a phone line either! I am so much hoping this will work! Please pray it works out!

Monica- we couldnt afford rent AND a property payment when we bought this place(10 acres) so we built a rough cabin with only outside walls. We tacked screen over the windows till we could scrounge up real ones(for free!) and so much more- by the way- there was NO power, water or phone service here so we made do till it got here-about 2 years!!!
Just saying all that to say- where theres a will there is a way!!!
I had 3 kids at home then a 10yr old,5 yr old and 8 month old baby!
IF both of you have peace about it and are good at making do it will be a wonderful adventure!!!!

Blessings,
Autumn

Bonne~what is the site you shared one time on menopause. My mom is having a really terrible time with hot flashes and I thought I would look up some things for her. Sorry to be a pain~I tried to look back through the pages and couldn't find it.

Autumn~it is so great that you could do that with your hubby. I'm sure you made so many excellent memories during that time.

Tell her to get Susun Weed's menopause book. Then she can pass it on to you. ;)

It might be a bit rough at first, but it would be such a weight off our shoulders, it would be worth it! Besides I am the one who uses a wringer washer and loves all of the old fashioned stuff so it wouldn't be a culture shock to live simply for a while! We actually would have all the utilities so that would make it easier! I am trying to not get too excited about it!

The only thing I would have to have is my computer! I don't think I could bear to be away from all of you for too long!!!!!!

Monica, I was gonna go check my mail and it started hailing! And then just rain, rain....I'll check it tomorrow..it may be there. :0) I can't wait to see my wonderful eye candy!! I saw the picture of you putting your thread in what I guess you ordered? or made yourself? You go girl...I hope you can find one of those shops to consign or buy your goods. :0) You've got a gift in being able to spin that tiny thread..you just don't see it much unless it's been spun by a machine.

Bonne~thank you~my mom would want me to buy it, read it and then just tell her what can help. I know I'm in for it with menopause~both my grandmother and mother have had a horrible time with it.

Monica~I hope things work out with the house situation. You will be so happy there. Praying all goes well. You do spin some wonderful thread and I can't wait to get mine.

How is everyone doing? We are doing school here. I have to finish up some things for swaps and want to plant my seeds indoors today. I have to take my son to the library for info for a bibliography. I took him to the eye dr. yesterday and his eyes are in tough shape. He is legally blind in one eye. Has amblyopia. His good eye is now near sighted. What is amazing is how well this kid can draw. I will have to post pictures of his drawings one of these days.

Gals, tomorrow, the movie industry will be filming part of a movie at the house behind ours. They have started bringing the trailers on the nearby street. It should be interesting. I do not know if they are filming in the back yard, but our dog sure noticed that there were people at that house today. I don't know what to do tomorrow, because our dog likes to really bark. We were told about the filming a couple of weeks ago. A man came around to inform us about the filming and everyone had to sign a paper.

Ruth I agree. It seems like the laundry is a weed. You mow it down, but it grows back very quickly.

Wow, it is good night and I am still awake. One more kitty feeding and then I can think about sleep.

It is chillier here tonight and trying to stay warm is my priority.

Monica, I so hope that works out for you. That would be so amazing.

Hoping for some more sunshine to enjoy outside, even if it is cold, I can bundle up and enjoy it.

Spent part of my day at the VA with hubby, oh joy oh bliss.
All for the strips for his diabetes, only to find out that he was at his alloted amount. Now why couldn't they tell us over the phone before driving to the Va Waiting in line for a hour and a half....nope that would be too nice.....grrrrr......but at least he has medical help. So I have to think of the postive in the midst of frustration....at least it was a sunshiny drive....grin.

Off for the last feeding of kitties.....then I have to treat bigger kittys foot that got hurt....yep, I will be wearing leather gloves for that one....am I having fun yet.....
not sure but will let you know.

You girls have a good morning.....
