I have found the computer to be a wily antagonist, Steph, and the banks, well let's just not go there.
I got up early this morning, feeling middling wretched, alled my friend Carol, who is in my quilting group and asked her if she was going to the meeting today. She (a fellow fibro sufferer) said she was feeling quite wretched, but she'd go if I sould. So we dragged our butts to town and actually it was kind of pleasant. I's forgotten that some of the new people aren't memebers of the Quilt Nazis, and they oohed and aahed over my completed ninepatch top and were happy to see my quilt in Quiltmania.

It is really cold and damp here today and after I got back from quilting I ran a few errands with my daughter, and now I'm ready for that afternoon power nap. Which isn't working quilte so well for me as it does for my old friend Dave, I feel empowered to take the nap, but the twenty minute rule is usually suspended...

Yup, naptime it is, I'll check inlater to see how everyone is doing...

Bonne~I wish I had known that before I started. I read this in a book and that's what I was trying. There needs to be a book out there written by regular everyday people and then we won't have to go through extra work.

Steph~computers can be such a pain. Maybe could it be the browser you're using? Have you tried a different browser to see if it works on there? I know that sometimes that happens to me.

Karin~It's cold and damp here, too. I am trying to get a fire going to take the chill out of the house. Glad you had a good time quilting.

she's building coops and the kids are on spring break, of course.

Karin, It doesn't matter if your quilts are simple nine-patches or fancy affairs~they all are so dang lively!! I love them all.

Steph, I wish you were going to be here too!!!! A commune sounds like a good idea! Your package is going out in the mail today! With some surprises!!!!!! Sorry it's taken so long. I don't think I will ever get my act together!

I did have a bit of luck with the bank today! I talked to a different manager and they reversed the charge on the check, which was $29.00 so that was good! They still won't refund the $30.00 for taking money out of MY savings account. Apparently it's a regulatory charge from the gov and the manager doesn't have the authority to reverse it! At least she explained things and was not a "bleep" like the one hubby talked to yesterday!

Off to the post office!

Monica, we can take our act on the road together..LOL Glad the bank cut you some slack..that $30 regulatory fee sounds like a bunch of crap though..never heard of such.

I can't wait to see Jess' henhouse..isn't she using some of the old windows she got off craigslist?

Karin, so glad you have happy quilters in the group..those nazis are a drag.

Monica~so glad to hear that you got that straightened out with the bank.

Wouldn't it be great if we could all meet somewhere. How much fun would that be?

I can't wait to see Jess' hen house either. I'm sure it will be great.

Steph, apparently the gov allows 6 withdraws per month and we had 3 over that at $10.00 each! If that is not a bunch of @#*& then I don't know what is! It seems also that our bank is not able to notify us that we are over their limit of 3 before the gov starts charging us!

Ruth, That would be too much fun if we could all meet up somewhere!

Those Chicken Tractors are really neat....I never had to do that...always a big henhouse I could walk into. I can see how this would work nicely for a few hens..

Autumn, I read your reply at my blog..what version of Internet Explorer to use...version 7 or the new version 8??

Ruth, what version of Internet Explorer are you using or are you using a different internet browser..I'm still trying to a process of elimination on why I can't see the music notes...Thanks for your feedback in helping me with this.

Happy 1st Day of Spring!!!!!!!!

Even though it is very cold here today and I had to start a fire but at least spring is on the way!!!

Steph~I use firefox and safari from apple. Had too much trouble with IE. Glad you can see everything on firefox.

Autumn~I love those chicken tractors. I would love a big henhouse but could start with one of those and see how things go. Hope things settle down a bit for you.

Monica and Carol~have a great time today.

Ruth, I may have to build a fire when I get home too, it was cold this morning. It's to be 50-ish here this weekend and that is such a tough temp to know what to do, fire sometimes is too warm but too chilly without. I have an electric oil-filled radiator I use in the family room this time of year but I would rather not...

yeah finally the first day of spring
it really felt like it yesterday it was warm enough for awhile that i got to wear a tshirt without a coat.

meeting up with all of you would be a riot and a learning experience on top of it all. wonder if we could all figure out a way to make it into business trips and deduct it from our taxes lol (oh wait that would mean i have to have a business)
