Busy bunch we are isn't life grand.
As soon as my house sells that is what I am buying an acerage. Need the good old farm life but small scale.

Doggy presents lots of those to get to.

Cleaned house and cut out tea cozy now on break. I will hide the laundry. Lol

Jess glad you are catching up so you can feel free to sew

Bonne that is a great chickenhouse I just think that is how mine will be.

I am going to go see if I can find any thrifty finds now I think-need to get out of house-looks like it is going to rain it is on + side hurray.

Hancock Fabrics, tomorrow only, McCalls patterns, 99 cents limit 10, excludes stitch and save and "hot" patterns. hmmm, wonder which they consider hot patterns. worth a shot if you have a Hancocks close by.

Karin, can't wait to know what haircut he got..LOL

Jess, I can't even imagine you there with just one child..how strange! I am glad you got so much cleaning done. I know that makes you feel better.

Ok, got to go read...where's this chicken house?

Just found the chicken coop...that is adorable! You tried Bonne...I guess you've freaked them out enough for one year by landscaping with veggies.

Steph, I was going to be so much more tolerant as of Saturday....but a day of holding it in, made it explode on Monday! LOL I've noticed the older I get the less likely I am to blow something off that irks me. It layers on you , you know? And you figure, I've put up with this and let it go so many times in the past~now I've HAD IT!!! Plus watching Glenn Beck gets me fired up too.

Hey, I got all my kitty blocks cut out and started sewing them together It's going to be another wrap skirt once it's compiled. I had several machine embroidered blocks that my sister had made me, that I'd waited 3 yrs to do something with, so I sprinkled them thoughout.

Bonne, it's terrible to hold stuff in..I did for decades and now I have high blood pressure...not good at all to be *too* tolerant..it'a silent killer.

Omg, Glenn Beck..gotta love that guy..he'll never have high blood pressure..LOL He tells it like it is!

Went to Wally World, picked up what I needed, stopped at Joannes for 1/2 a yard of fabric and was there for 40 minutes just waiting for someone to cut. It was packed. Got all the bills payed and back home. Of course, the kitchen floor is littered with bags of groceries to put away. I did make the bed with clean sheets and all the laundry is washed and folded, now I just need to put it away.

Bonne~you need to let them have it. It's a free country and we should be able to do what we like with our homes that we paid for and pay taxes for all the time.

Another thing to do is keep on the Joann's email sale list. They routinely have "all thread 1/2 off" sales. That's when you buy up the type you like, or want to try, but don't want to pay full price for. No brainer, huh.

OK, Monica and Steph!!!

We went to Chloride, Arizona last week (with our company) and I took some pictures of the wild mural on the boulders, painted back in 1966 way out in nowhere!!!! Talk about wild unleashed talent LOL! Check it out and let me know what you think of this guy's stuff. REMEMBER IT WAS PAINTED IN THE 60'S LOL. I LOVE it and bring everyone to see it. Oh, and tell me what you think of the dishes in the ground, too.

Zan and I were sorely disappointed when we picked up the Martian, as we often call the boy, because he hadn't gotten his hair cut. He claims it will happennext Saturday he claims. We had fun at lunch drawing pictures of hairdo we thought he could try. He was amused but refuses to let on just what he plans on. He is such a funny guy, we had a wonderful time laughing and catching up with him, he can make anything funny. That is a gift.

I'm hoping to get some sewing done this evening but I am really tired. Too much sinus activity and too much arthritis adventures going on. Perhaps tomorrow. I still have a lot of nine patch blocks too play with, and some ideas for a few smaller quilts. Today, despite the fact I am a fabric buying ban, I did get a remnant of really sweet heavy cotton fabric to use making market bags. I have decided to make a few more recycled cat food specials and put them on my etsy site. That is my excuse....

That chicken coop is so nice, makes a person consider having chickens.

Too tired, i think it is going to be an early night for me....
