Bonne~You are very witty. You should definitely be quoted.
I got my magazine yesterday but haven't had a chance to look at it all. Anyone who wants can come over and look at my magazine with me.
Carrie~I can't wait to visit your blog. Yes, pictures are a must. I am definitely a visual person.
Thank you all so much for the many wonderful birthday wishes. We had a wonderful night. Hubby bought me a new dress and shoes, took me out to a beautiful restaurant and then to a comedy show. It was great!!!!!!!!
Jess~I wish I knew you when my kiddos were born. Such great advice.
Autumn~take good care of that momma and baby.

I am going off to lay down with a cup of tea and my new magazine. I went to work today and then to my mom's house for lunch and a nice visit.
The kids stayed over there yesterday. It was a nice time.
I hope everyone is have a good day.
Daylight savings starts tonight. We lose an hour of sleep. Don't forget to push your clocks ahead an hour.
Goodnight, Ruth

argh...daylight savings...we just started having it a few yrs ago, i cannot stand it...oh well! thanks for the reminder.
yes...82 here today, cleaned off front porch, cleaned off sideporch, moved "lawn furniture" to side porch. I just might be able to move that treadle out there this summer! yay. i love having a porch off my sewing room, it is not covered though. The boys picked up a ton of branches from the yard.
Cleaned boys room, living room, sitting room, dining room floor...got all coats, snowpants, gloves, hats, scarves, mittens and snowboots back to where they belong! I hope we don't need em again, but i bet we will.
Cleaned out the chickies, they are getting tail feathers, wing feathers and combs!!!
Made decaf iced mocha, a whole gallon! Yum!!!!
Then for the capper....we ran out to the grocery, picked up graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows, hot dogs and buns...we had a camp fire and roasted our dinner and desert...fun fun!

Do we get a party or something? Linda,Tina and Ruth - we are famous now ya know- our lives will change...............
Sorry, I'm giddy from snuggling Wendy today! They are gonna come over for the day tomorrow so Sara can sit outside a bit in the warm sunshine! I went over and did dishes for her today and picked up a bit. She's doing just fine with nursing so far- not too much soreness.

Thanks girls for visiting and comments. Steph that book is called 14 quick machine quilts they were mail order books-50pg. booklets for $1.75 dated from the 70's but pages are yellowed. It does have a geometric quilt in it they all seem to be machine appliqued. The other is envelope patchwork

Yum, yum Jess. I like cooking hot dogs and making smores. Dh was more help with his mother so far this weekend. Yeah! Still tired, because I kept waking up during the night, and with an hour less of sleep because of daylight savings time. Sigh......Besides dh's phone was on vibrate and it kept going off all last night.

If I had a column in MJF Mag, it would be a "Fashion Do & Don't". I used to love Glamour magazine when I was a teen-20's and that was my favorite part. Only now, you can view it online: http://donts.glamour.com/galleries Put on your shades to shield your eyes!
