I remember them being good if they were stale. You had to open the pkg and leave them out to harden up a bit. lol
I can't risk the extra sugar and calories now though. ;)

Monica, I like the marshmellow peeps, but they are a little too sweet for me. We used to make the home made playdough all the time.

Autumn, when pregnant with my first born son, dh and I were out shopping for a video camera. I had mild contractions, but thought nothing of it. During the early morning hours, the water didn't really break like they show in the movies. It just felt like I had to keep going to the bathroom A couple of hours later the contractions were heavier and stronger and closer together. My son was born an hour later and a half after going to the hospital

Bev, Those baby goats are about the cutest little four footed creatures imaginable. I realize it has been a while since I looked at your blog. Your house looks fabulous, that's an incredible accomplishment...andall the wonderful pictures, I love Maddie with the cat bowl. I have a friend who has Newfies, they'r e such sweethearts.

Jess, How scary about the fox, I'm glad you were able to persuade it to leave, we once had a rabid fox in our garden in the middle of the day many years ago. I remember our neighbor came over and shot it, my husband had a rifle but it was a piece of junk, and since my neighbors at the time were hunters I knew they'd have a rifle that worked.

Well I got all my packages done up to send out and then my son needed me for something, so tomorrow I'm going to the post office, I don't care if I go in my pajamas, I'm getting these bits and pieces in the mail. Rain rain rain today. Which probably means icy conditions again, my driveway turns into the big luge adventure. I guess I'll have to pay attention...

Autumn, hope that baby gets here soon, nothing more lovely than a new baby in the family....

I've only had small water adventures here lately, mostly I think I need a new gutter at one spot at the back of the house. Spring usually fills my cellar with a few inches of water, I have salamanders living down there. Whoever built this house set the drainage hole higher than the rest of the floor. Makes me wish I had a large cudgel to wield, if ever I could figure out who was responsible for that brilliant idea.

Steph, sorry to hear about your latest adventures, this winter seems to be testing us all.Right, I better go stagger off to bed, the windis howling tonight so I will be listening to the storm window troopers, clog dancing all night.

Don't forget to pick up your package when you're at the PO Karin.

Autumn, do you get anything accomplished when hubs is home on vacation? Mine is off from today through all next week and we lounged in bed until 10am today. Talk about lazy good-for-nothings.

Karin, here is to hoping you got some sleep with your tap dancing windows. And you be careful going out tomorrow with the chance of it being icy, you have had enough of the adventures in the bashing of the body this winter.

Autumn, I was so laughing on the gagging part of peeps. I just can't do them, but hubby loves them. And hmmmm sounds like baby is getting closer. She wants this adventure done with now and that baby in her arms!!!!! Who can blame her because haven't we all gone through that stage. Soon soon.

It is cold here tonight and was last night. It did sunshine which was so nice today. It was what 38, yippeee. Come on spring, you know you can. There was 2 birdies working on the nest in our maple tree. So it can't be too long. I think I just plain want warmer weather. To have sunshine kissing my shoulders warming me from the outside in....ahhhh yes, just can't wait.

We've had an extremely dry season with very little snow. I've been having to water my peach trees on nice days. We're hoping spring snows will come, but not counting on it.
I'm going to the farm/ranch supply today and ck out their seed offerings~I've started a few pepper seeds already~hoping for a mega productive year even though it's got a dry start.
Maybe I should gather together my Kachinas and make an appeal for abundant rains. ;)

Bonne~we have a Native American rain stick, would you like to borrow it?

Autumn~I hope that baby is here soon. Take her for some nice walks. That's what my mom would tell me.

It has been pretty nice here this week. Not too cold but tonight and until Monday we are expecting snow, on and off. YUCK!!! I am looking forward to spring and can't stand more snow. Maybe I could send it to you, Bonne.

Karen~Be Careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had two cords of wood delivered today. They just dumped it in the driveway. We threw it all over the fence, stacked some and got it covered with tarps. Went to look at a local wood mill for some bookshelves. We wanted to price them. They are actually cheaper than we expected. We found some we like and now we will save up to buy them.

Monica, I have an Etsy shop now as well. It is so easy to put up the pictures. I had an eBay store, but with the monthly costs, plus the fees (although the insertion fee is cheap, but the final value fee is not). I like the fact that Etsy lists the items for several months.

I tried to add the link on here, but I had problems. Farmgirl connection put in censored, but I don't know why. You can see below. Has anyone here had the same problem? Am I doing something wrong? My user name for etsy is [censored]rygl.

A rain stick, Ruthie? Heap big medicine~what tribe does your hubs belong to?

I was also wondering if I should or could change my name on Etsy, but I noticed that usernames can not be changed.

How weird, it keeps blanking out that sequence of letters~whatever it is, I can't figure what it's supposed to read as. Oh, well. You just won't be able to advertise on MJF it appears.

Thanks Bonne, now have it ordered and will arrive her next week. Dh and I use to have Mother EArth all the time and through the years haven't really done any subscriptions, decided to put this one on our list.

Right now all the animals are curled up on the couch with me, 2 small doggies, 2 cats, and 2 kittens that are darn adorable. Yep, hail hail the gang is all here. Except for the chickens. That would be a bit much. They keep me nice and warm. It was sunshiny earlier here, and now gray. Ahhh 22 days to spring, I think we are all waiting at times impatiently for it. We are suppose to get rain, maybe a day of mixed snow and rain. But rain is a very good thing!!!!

Wonder why in the world it is doing that Sharon.

Steph, how is it going for you....thinking of you.....

Bonne~We are not sure what tribe he is from. His family is from Quebec~French Canadians. He has tried to trace his family but there was a time when no one wanted to be a native American and they did not list it as part of their heritage. His mom had some papers and she was not always so nice~an alcoholic~so she wouldn't ever let him see them.

Susan~let me know what your Etsy address is~you can email me.
