If you buy the Powerball ticket all you have to do is ask for a quickpick and they generate the numbers for you. It's only $1. There have been quite a few winners in Indiana this year. Hey we can all send you $1 and then you can buy the tickets in your winning state and we'll split the pot. How cool would that be? My hubby does a pool like this at work once the jackpot is high. They've never won, though.

No we don't want that Bonne but sometimes it doesn't seem we have a choice in this free country. Things are done no matter what we say.

Carrie~so sorry to hear about your shoulder.

Carol Sue~Is your niece sick? I must have missed that post. I hope she is doing better.

I have a favor to ask you, ladies. I have a very hard time finding Fels Naphta soap in our area. Would one of you be able to send me some and I will reimburse you for the soap and the shipping. The store that I usually get it at hasn't had it lately.

Thank you~Ruth

Thanks Bonne it surely hurts bad I filled a bag of ice sitting here trying to numb pain.

We do not have a perfect health care system-we have a doctor shortage
But everyone is covered for basic healthcare and emergencies when required without having to pay up front-I think your system requires money up front am I correct? It would not be emergency(we call it day surgery)so that is why there is a list that and shortage of physicians. A lot depends on how proactive you are to pushing your way to see a specialist(orthapedic doctor) I do feel yous are ahead of us in your treatments but I think that has to do with governmental policies(FDA)

Ruth, I can get it for $1.09 a bar at my store, I would be glad to send you some - how many do you want? That's cheaper than I've seen it online.

Suzanne~that would be great. How about 6 bars for now. Thank you so much.

Jess~I will definitely look into buying a case online, too. It's better than bugging people to get it for me.

Do you have a Big Lots? I saw some at Big Lots last week.

All the Canadian drs and nurses want to come to the US to make more $$ here.
Don't blame them, but then it leaves Canada in the lurch.
All the illegals are covered here though. They get free health care while US citizens
Pay and Pay. I'm really short-fused lately~you'll have to excuse my sarcasm. Aren't we, Steph? About to blow.....

I know this government stuff is pi$$ing us off here too and Ruth is right they will do what they choose in the end. But what I get out of it is it may save both countries from recession. As our lumber and car factories are in crisis. Unemployment is on the rise and many other issues. I think the point is how to help each other deal with these issues. Each country is helping each other out. I am not up on all the government crap but I see they both need to make a lot of changes. Money has become root of this evil.
Medical wise I think it should be everyones right to see a doctor when necessary no matter if rich or poor. It should be a given

However I really do not want to debate my country and you debate your country I would prefer to stand united with you all. Life in general is already tough enough without creating rifts in our relationships as humans. I can voice my opinion but I have no control over it. It is like discussing religion.

I say united we stand united we will fall but we will not stay down!!!
