Hi everyone. I just noticed this post from Linda--a rose
I thought it was important that we all saw this. She sounds so scared..and I can't blame her.

I posted this message to her.

I heard about using scorpion venom on brain tumors years ago, and it looks like they are still testing it.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Maybe someone should open a new topic just for all of those needing our prayers. I am to new at this to know what I'm totally doing. God bless you.

Sharon, yes, the apron would be easy enough to reproduce and after some digging I have found a vintage pattern for a chicken potholder...you remember the one that is sewn in two sections so you can grab a handle? Well anyway, I found it and will upload to my image blog..You can use that as a template if you like and just enlarge or reduce it as you need to.

Oh my, Linda (a rose) is dealing with so much...I didn't realize brain tumors had been added to the diagnosis..I know she was diagnosed with lung cancer and had surgery..I think I have the right person in mind..this is so aweful and sad.

Stephanie, I know exactly what you are talking about. I used to make them. Years ago, I had also designed a cat potholder that is pretty similar.

Welcome Gail,
I hope that you stay and enjoy being part of this topic forum.

There is a seperate forum called Hogs and Quiches and Prayers. I shared this new topic about Linda/a rose because the gals on this apron topic know her well. She has sewn and participated in many swaps, etc.
I have a very special doll she made. I am so happy about what she does do while being sick.

Got'em up~can't wait to make at least 2 more. I've got some more embroidered denim that I want to use~the pattern is amazingly from 1983(those awful 80's) and looks frumpy on the pattern but cute on. I never would have tried it if my sister hadn't already made it and said how nice hers turned out.

Is Linda "pink roses"? Or am I thinking of someone else?

The cat was cute. I don't if I still have the pattern that I made somewhere around here.

I look forward to the uploading of the chicken pattern.
