Karin~I am so sorry to hear about your poor daughter. I hope that she is well soon. Praying for a quick recovery for her. I certainly hope that your car troubles will soon come to an end. I can only imagine how tiring and frustrating this is. You don't need to be dealing with this right now.
Bonne~those are hilarious. Which one is your favorite and when are you starting on one?LOL

Karin, I know that your daughter is anxious to go home. When my mom was in the hospital the last time, she was anxious to get out of there, even if it was to go back to the rehabilitation center. There is no place like home, whether you have an actual home, or the rehabilitation center in my mom's case is now her home.

Karin, I keep thinking of my mother's saying...never rains but what it pours. Enough already for you and Zan. If you're being tested to see how strong you are, please let who ever is in charge know you passed and they can stop already. |

To the first person who e-mails me. The whole lot- Free Wool
O.K. Naomi, it is yours.
Bluish Grey (has a few holes and small areas where is is thin-24.5" wide x 16.5 -a piece has been cut from this wool piece)
Grey (also has some areas where is wearing thin and a few small holes-measures approx. 31.5" wide x 46" at shortest point and 56" at the longest edge- a piece has been cut from this wool fabric)
green variegated wool (10" x 13.5)
Black wool 15" x 26"
gold variegated 18" x 56" (some small holes)
I could have posted this under another topic, but thought that I would put it here first.

You are welcome. It is easy to work with. I think that a few of the pieces have been felted already. Felted wool is great for applique work, and there are so many other things that it can be used for.

Karin, I'm so sorry Zan is still not stabilized. Diabetes is in my mother's side of the family..she's the only one from six siblings that hasn't got it. The rest of my aunt's have suffered terribly. I'll be praying for Zan and for you to get through to her doctor and for you to resolve this car mess....this is enough to drive you to madness.
-----
Bonne, we all wish we had the looks of Raquel Welch...what a beauty she was then and still is now...Her daughter is a knockout too. remember Raquel in Barberella? Was that in the 60's..I remember I was a young girl.
-----
Nay, wait til you get your hand on wool.....you'll start thinking in ways you never have before.
-----
I'm finally feeling better after two days of hell. My IBS decided to revolt over something I ate...but it's something that I've eaten many times before..I guess it changed it's mind on what is allowed to pass through me! Two things I wish I could eliminate from life....eating and sleeping. Now I wonder what a shrink would have to say about that?..LOL

Stephanie~Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. My husband has issues with what he eats, too. He wishes he could eliminate from his life, also.
Well, ladies I cut my hair. It was really long and starting to get tangled easily so I had it cut off really short. If you have seen the movie Twilight I cut it like Alice's hair. I will try to post a picture tomorrow.
I hope Jess is doing well. She hasn't been around. Bev, too. I guess they are really busy.
Talk to you all later.

Steph, I hope you are feeling better!!!
Naomi, I think you ought to share!!!hehe!!
I was at the market today and I was looking at the magazines for a minute! This lady was looking for a quilt magazine and I pointed out Mary Jane's Farm of course and she really likes it and was going to get it! I also told her about farmgirl connection and the swaps and how I have met some of the coolest ladies ever and she was excited about checking it out !!! Yipee!! I did end up getting a quilting magazine mostly because my hubby wanted to get some lottery tickets so I figured if he was going to waste $4 I should be able too!! Logical to me!

My girl is home! She's pretty wobbly from the meds and the infection, but we're watching last night's part of the dog show and then we'll watch the rest when it is on later. It is such a treat to be here vegging out with Zan and the doggies.
Thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts for Zan and me.

Karin, Saying prayers for your daughter, and the car! Take care of you, too.
Monica, It definitely sounds logical to me!
Ruth, Looking forward to pics, I need some new ideas...hairdressers seem to peg someone as a "type" and can't think beyond that... |

Karin, glad y'all are home and snuggling in for the evening...we love watching the dog shows too. I saw previews for a new show for next Saturday called "Underdog to Wonderdog"....taking scruffy doggies and doing makeovers..LOL And of course, I must watch it..

Karin~so glad to hear that your daughter is home. I hope you have a great night and enjoy some peace and quiet.
I just picked up the issue of Apronology that Joann's was holding for me. They let me use a 50% off AC Moore coupon. It was only $7.50.
Monica~I didn't have a chance to check if they had more. We were at the hairdresser for over two hours. My daughter and I both cut our hair short. It took so long. I will be going back this weekend and I'm sure they will have more.

Autumn: My nana's name was Sadie! We named a few dogs after her, but I think she would have preferred to be a starter instead of a dog!
Bonne: You sure had a busy day with a lot of work in it! Plus a good deed? Awesome.

Karin, so glad she is home with you. Hugs girl. No I haven't read any of the pages yet, but will be doing so in a bit. Finally finally figued out how to get the stupid internet to connect here at my nieces. Geezzz it has only taken me 5 days to do that. Will be going home tomorrow, and will be driving niece twice a week to school, she should in no way be driving. Kinda scary not knowing for sure what is going on, but she has fibro + and that plus isn't gonna be good. Have spent time down here and shopping with her for the last few days along with dd, Teresa. To say we are exhausted doens't even cover that one. Fibro in major duress but home resting tomorrow morning. That will be great. Gosh I have so so so missed talking to you girls and keeping my sanity.....ok, yes I know not to sane but you get the gest of it all. Love you girls...a mean it....

monica- your lucky that you can take homemade cupcakes to school, we can only take store bought ones and they have to be sealed and have no peanut butter
ronna- i got your package and love the silverware, and the kids are excited about the video game(i havent got the batteries yet) they took off with a couple of the items in the box. so i dont remember what they were lol.
