No decided fo for my first apron it would be to hard to do the brocade, so I bought a pretty green cotton with large roses on it. I am almost done. I will post photos soon!

Hi gals, I've been away for couple days...my little boy was in the hospital with pneumonia... :-(
 say some prayers for him and me please. He's better but still gotta watch him..Danny is 7 years old.
He's home now and I'm gonna take a nap....zzzz

Okay Kathie and everyone else! Here is a picture of my first apron. I am still tinkering with it a bit but it is mostly done.
This was the first time EVER that I have tried to follow a pattern, let alone make an apron. And I am still a pretty rookie sewer. There are quite a few things that irritate me about it because it doesn't look right to me, but overall I think it is okay.
What do you think?

I don't think this apron is very flattering on me- too many gathers at the waist makes it flare out over the widest part of my body! LOL But here ya go Kathie-

Oh Alee......the apron turned out great! It is so pretty and feminine....and I think all of those gathered aprons make ALL of us look a little more curvacious.....but that is actually a good thing....just ask my hubby!!!

Thanks ladies! The good thing about my camera is it is hiding all the horrible seams and the fact that I used white thread! LOL What what I thinking! Silly me! Oh well! I suppose it is good for a first try! Next time will be better!
