Aww, we'll miss ya Aunt George...
all these aprons are fab..the dogs are cute
and to explain my absence...we had famly come in yesterday...I did sew Monday night, but I've got to fix something on it before I post a picture...

Oh boy, I sure wish I could claim ownership of the ruffle here.....I cheated and used ruffled quilt binding....just like applying bias tape.....and makes a nice finish....easy squeezy!!!!!!

Don't you dare try it on the cat!!! Dogs don't mind being made to look silly,
but cats..........you'll pay in the end.
I've missed you too Naomi, but I know you are also doing so many other things.
Well, however the ruffle came about, Bev, it's sure cute on that apron. I'm waaayyy
overdue for a new apron..........been too busy playing with treadles and their parts.
It's such a thrill when to get one sewing a decent stitch for the first time in decades!
Yeah, I'm a thrill junkie..........LOL

Bonnie, I really like the apron. Is the pocket patchwork or is it the pattern of the fabric?

Cubs as in living in IL all my life until 1985 when I transplanted out to WA. No matter where I live I'll be a Cubs fan forever!

Oh....the doggie photos are great...so I have show my Miss Morgan the yorkie again...some of you have seen her and some haven't. She's my baby doll that loves to be dressed

popping in for a minute before i fall into bed and sleep till lunch :)aprons are all so pretty !!!!!!!! I may get some of the bias tape --thanks for the link.the doggies are all SO SO cute !!!!!!!!!! the boss has me sewing new pet beds for all her cats . 3 done --13 to go yet . SHe do spoil her kitties :)

Lisa, I used to be able to buy bias tape, ribbon, etc. by the yard at a fabric and trim store. This place was busier than all get out. Then, one day I decided that I needed to stop and get some discounted trim, and they were gone, and no where to be found. Sigh. It is so nice because you use what you need, and there isn't any left overs from a package. I don't know if Bev has leftovers or not.

You go on the kitty beds! I've got one you made from Cat-in-the-Hat fabric
that is used continually. Thankfully washable too! It's positioned where kitties
have a view of the neighbors walnut tree (always full of squirrels! ;) )
