Oh too cool..we gotta add each other as a friend! Aren't there just some fabulous stuff and great patterns are shared..very very cool environment. I have met many nice folks over there. I wonder if Bonne's a member. If not, she should join...she'd go nuts over all the patterns. There's only a 2 day wait for an invitation right now..When I joined there was a 3 week wait.

Steph, Yes I have sunlight bulbs, yep under them, yep it does help. Bev because I know you all love me it gets me through on crazy days. Those are not as much as they were. So thankful for that one. Been thinking about you and your daughter. You my dear will always be a bit more concerned about that one. Dh was head injured 18 years ago, life changed drastically overnight. So have an inkling. Glad she is here with ya and doing so well. Do daughters listen to the mom card? Hmmmm sometimes......she will get it figured out. It might take her a bit more time than you like but she will.
Kathie, yep, you sweet girl, we can always pin it on you and run like crazy cause we know that sooner or later you would catch up with us. Then we would be paying penanace big time!!!!!

Well, I have been up since 3:30....insomnia. Darned menopause. Well, at least that gives me an extra 2 hours today! Have a girls' day planned with my daughter and my Mom....both are celebrating birthdays...so I got them each a massage and lunch at the Spa in Hershey. I think we will have a blast.
Nay...the mushroom bag is adorable!

Bev., Have fun for us. I am debating. Since dh is up, do I go back to sleep for another hour when I have to get oldest son up for class?

Ok.. i have the Cutest Story for you! I had my Little Table out so I could Take Pictures for you Girls.. & it was still in the living room yesterday evening.. My Daughter Jennifer came over for Dinner.. She made the biggest fuss over the table..! She said "My Space Ship! MOM!!! This is My Space Ship!! I'm taking it home with me!" I said "Oh No your not! It stays with me!" She said 'You don't understand This IS MY SPACESHIP!!!!!" & she picked up the little table & set it on it's side on the floor & sat cross legged in front of it & I'll be darned if she didn't have a little instrument panel & solar system drawn out on the underside of that table!!!! I had NEVER seen that before!!!! This kid is a Trip!! She always comes up with the most hilarious things! I just think it's SO funny the things we find out about our kids when they grow up or become adults that we didn't know when they we little! Obviously she couldn't let on about her Space Ship when she was little because she would have gotten into trouble for drawing on the table probably! So.. she had kept her little Space Ship all to her self! & I wonder How many time I went in her room & it was a mess.. the table was laying on it's side & & said "Jen.. fix that table!" or "Turn that table back up !" & she just did.. & never said anything! & whats Really funny.. is she always had wanted to be in the Sapce Program when she was a kid too! If there's any doubt.. Go take a look at her & her new Car on my Blog!
So.. the Out come was NO, she did NOT get to take the table home with her.. I said who ever has Kids 1st gets it!!!! (Motivation!!!!) But she just said: "THATS not fair Mom, Zachary's going to have kids 1st!" (Zachary is my 16 year old Nephew!!! )

Jessica, my dh has a reminder on his work calendar for birthdays. He has forgotten my birthday on more than one occasion, and now he never forgets. I am better at remembering the birthdays. I have never forgotten his birthday.

If my husband forgot my birthday.....there would be some sort of irrational hell to pay! No way would he be allowed to do this..I would come unglued..a few days a year are mine...birthday..mothers day and the like....unless he is struck with dimensia, he better keep on rememberin or I would hate to have the fit I would throw on video.

Jess, my dh did regret forgetting. In fact, I think that he forgot our anniversary one time as well. He doesn't remember the boy's birthdays, but dh has never been good about remember numbers and dates. My mil even forgot my birthday one year, but then she was around 90 years old at the time, so I understood. She always called on my birthday. I usually remain silent to see if they say anything or not, but when dh forgot my birthday a couple of times, he really did feel bad.

I love B-Day alarm. There are just too many to keep track of in the brain. As Bev mentioned, that dang mentalpause thing.
I'm not a Ravelry member~where have I been living for the past decade? Have to ck it out. Jess, you really need to get your little "hooker" to sit down with you and do a simple project. Threaten her with taking away her sewing machine or something. Or big mean Auntie Bonne will come get it~something to that effect. (probably won't phase her....lol) A hook, a ball of yarn and you're good to go~nice takealong project.

I can do like that regular crochet thing, but my rows are uneven, and rectangles or squares turn into triangles...I suck at it.

| Hmmmm, four moon children (moon child does sound better than cancer)...does that mean we rule??? I know Stephanie and I have huge fabric, etc. stashes..do the rest of the moon children also? I know I do the crab thing and hold on to stuff. Should have walked away from my second marriage, knowing it was a mistake, but couldn't walk away from all my stuff that I'd moved to Boise. I say the only good that came from that marriage was my son and he's well worth it. |
