aww, you girls are so sweet to offer mom a machine! She woke me up this morning going "How much do you think it would cost to ship a sewing machine??? rofl....I was just like..huh? you know half asleep still.....I told her it depends, if you can get a flatrate box, or how heavy..but really how am I supposed to know? I've never shipped a sewing machine!
So that tells you she is excited....but we agreed, she needs to wait until after we move...haha...

Bev, that's a cute apron..I love the half aprons..I guess because they have so many other uses then being worn. Your hubby will so happy to see you have rescued him! Can't wait to hear about the dinner.

Oh, and your Photoshop doings is fantastic! I've got the Photoshop version 7 and have learned limited stuff like filters and other minor doings..would love to have the newest version...Bonne has the whole blasted integrated suite of programs!!!!!!WAHHHHH Right, Bonne??

Karin, You're killin me talking about those junk shops. I've found the one about 10 miles from that I must go back to.

Well Tina...you may be able to get a machine shipped for around $35 (may be less) depending on which carrier is used. Jess was saying that DHL is less expensive than everyone. I went into the FedEX place yesterday to inquire about their rates and they say they are 20% less on ground service than UPS so that gave me the answer I was looking for. I knew they were giving UPS some good competition. Now I gotta find out if DHL is around here.

Jess and Bonne, yeah, kind of like realizing I MAY have too many pieces of fabric?? NO Way...there's always more waiting to come live with me..LOL

I've gotten sewing machines on Ebay shipped for $25-$35. Those were
heavy metal ones too. Can't buy one for that unless you get one used very local and don't have to drive very far~considering gas prices anymore~sheesh!!! Yeah, get yourself organized and moved first so you don't have another thing to move.

ok.. Bonne.. You HAVE to be kidding.............. Introvert my butt!

Bev! Have a Lovely Evening Sister Lou!
& What a SWEET little Apron! I LOVE those colors!

Steph.. Spank is one of the nicer things i'm thinking of right now when it comes to THAT Sister.. She is on EVERY list I have that starts with the letter 'S' lately!.... THAT just was an example of How irresponsible she was as a Child.. & NOTHING has changed as an adult for her either!
(I LOVE the Idea of the Dammit Dolls! These Sound like a bit of Fun!)

ok.. enough of her!

Autumn.. ? Hammock..? I am SOOooooo intrigued! So... do tell how are you planning on doing this?

Ronna & Tina..
So good to see you two over here gettin' busy & visiting..
You'll be sewing in no time.. But regardless.. your being here among us is contagious creativity overflow Which is always welcomed & needed you know!

Karin If my Search for Wee Little chairs gives you an excuse to hit the Yard Sale Road I am MORE then Happy to be the one responsible for That Sweetie Pie!!!
Wouldn't it be Awesome to see it all together again? Poor little Table..
(Stupid little Kelly..)

ok Jess.. you have to allow us to Kidnap you for a Day!!!
Nay.. we need to make Plans!!!

I know, a Leo that's an introvert~how ironic!?
That's why I have difficulty selling soap~I can't do craft fairs
unless my hubby is there chatting it up with people. I just can't
do it, so I don't. I like to make schtuffs, just can't market them worth a darn.

I don't believe it! your so friendly & easy to converse with..
Why do you pull in..?

Stop that.. you KNOW you have way too much to offer & bring to a conversation! i KNOW you probably are a natural Magnet for people..
Then to just clam up..? balonie.. knock it off..
YOU aren't meant to be the introvert Sister..!!

Kathie, ok..I was being kind too...ROTF Many of other descriptive words would be more fitting for sister in your case.

Speaking of astrology...I'm a Cancer (July 2)..probably accounts for my wishy-washy nature at times..I'll get halfway towards something and start slowing down to make sure it's safe...that's blasted crab! But on the upside the moon is my planet and it's so totally rules me by night. Has to account for my energy level increasing as the moon rises..been a nightowl as long as I can remember. I finally quit fighting it and just go with it now.

Mexico Beach and Seaside are nice little areas...Seaside is about an hour-hour and a half away and Mexico Beach is about 30 minutes...both have beautiful beaches, which would be nice, so long as we have a mild winter(we usually do)....

Yes the sun is most important too. I have to get my needed dose to stay balanced. And it's weird..gray skies will kill me too but the night time doesn't.

okay i am back temporarily

as you all know i have a really old house, well with really old houses, there is a lot of repair and redo and what not...we tackle it a little at a time because really we arent made of money and we are really busy with kids stuff. So about every week it is something new and we make a list about once a month or 6 weeks, do what we can on our own, and have a handy man do the rest...so today I started hearing water pouring...you know the sound you hear when youare filling up a bathtub...so I went to the kitchen and bathroom to see what it was...well as I walked throughthe dining room, it sounded like a waterfall...well anyway my hose has been on most of the day with kiddos running through the sprinkler...anyhow, I guess the spigot outside is no longer connected correctly, and more is shooting into my basement than is flowing to the sprinkler outside...so there is water spraying in from the ceiling basically, and it tripped the breaker to my basement, so my sump pump has been unable to pump water out. My basement has 2 rooms, we have a limestone foundation, 1 room has a mud/gravel floor, the other room has a limestone floor...it was the cellar for the house for a long time before electricity and what not to store your food in. Any how, I just went down, turned off the main, reset the breaker, reset the sump pump, and now the water is pumping out, and the few things I have out there will need to be taken out tomorrow to dry...hope it does not rain...but you know...never a dull moment around here and I would not give up my house for the world.
