Don't worry, Bev. Your girl will meet the man that is right for her when she is least expecting it. Glad you are on that horse again.

Looks like you are all having a good weekend. Cannot wait to see that new baby, Jess!!

I sewed and planted all weekend. My experimental garden is starting to take shape. This fall we will really get it ready for next year if it turns out to be fruitful this summer. Making soap was a real blast and we cannot wait to do it again.

Awww,Bev- sorry about your girl's troubles.
I will pray for her and you.
I think we feel more pain for them than they feel for themselves.
It's hard to try to help em out once they've been on their own.

Well girls- I did it- and there are NO pictures to prove it!!!!
Thankfully!!!
I tried out the rope swing over the pond and swam with the kids today. It was lots of fun and we had a wonderful day- lemonade, bbq chicken, potatoe salad and of course sun tea!!!

I had this great idea- or I saw it somewhere
but I put 1 tea bag into a mason jar and filled it about 3/4 full of water and put the lid on-individual size sun tea!!
I tied a lemon fabric strip around the jar and all ya had to do was add ice and sugar and of course a lemon wedge and shake.

Blessings,
Autumn

Well I got back from Alabama on Sunday afternoon..unloaded the truck and fell into the chair and stared at the ceiling for a while..LOL I think we may have loaded about 40%..had to remove some heavy bags from the boat..just too much weight for the little truck..it was gasping for relief.

So anyhow I got tons of fabric packed and waiting for the next trip which may be as soon as this Friday. Found out that the house may close as soon as the 20th of this month so gotta get this show on the road so to speak.

I took lots of pictures inside and outside the house to remind me of all my "stuffs"...it will be a comfort while much of it waits in storage til we move on to the next house.

I've taken a bunch of pictures of what I brought on this trip for y'all to see..I'll be getting them on my dkd blog this week and please look on the queenofdreamsz blog too. Boy, do I have my work cutout for me...whoohoo...I've got soooooo muccchhhhh faaaabbbrricc

Ronna, so glad you've joined in!! I've missed visiting with you...Jess, ouwww ..the bebe'!! "blog the belly" time!!

Bonne, I mailed 2 boxes of yarn from Alabama last Friday..they are coming USPS parcel post so it may take 5-6 days for them to reach you. I found more yarn the next day and have that box packed and will mail it when I return.

Bev, it's hard to know what to say when a child is heartbroken but I know your daughter is so grateful to have you and a home to come back to..everything happens for a reason.

Great apron Naomi

gosh, I'm still trying to catch up!!

Oh wait...Jess, here's one of my tiny chairs we talked about that one of my fairies is sitting on.

Hugs...

Stephanie, neat picture of your fairy in a chair. Girl, ehhh gads you have your work cut out for you and in a short amount of time.

Bev, thankfully you were there for her to have a place to come to, to restore and to heal.

Ronna girl, resting is a very wise and wonderful thing on a holiday weekend.

Sheryl-lyn, I bet you were a sewing queen.

Yes Nay checked our your beautiful apron. Cutie patootie girl.

Autumn, grand idea for individual tea, and yeah you did it, a swinging free woman.

Stephanie, I do not have a sewing room anymore, and my youngest son wants the room emptied of my things, because he wants to fix it up. I have been going through the fabric and things but I am not fast enough for my son, so he started moving things. He has some of his things in there and found one of his high school music sweatshirts.

I feel for you moving all those things. If we ever have move, it will take along time to pack up. About 5 times the time it took to pack things up to move in to this house. We sure have collected a lot over the last 24 years.

I updated my www.queenofdreamsz.blogspot.com blog late lastnight...y'all take a look!

Sharon, 24 years in the same place..I would like to say those numbers one day..LOL But of course would have to tell anyone they were crazy if they thought I'd pack and move again after that length of time.

Jess, yes, blog the belly for me My neice and my DIL neither one are on the computer much less blogging so I need a fix..it's killin me that they won't start a blog so I can keep up with their lives that way..it's so much more fun then trying to have phone conversations when there's so many things going on in the daytime hours for them.

Autumn, I love the Sun Tea by the glass...uuuh excuse me...by the jar..what a clever idea

Bev, I know you are sewing today..YAY!! Moonbeam is such a pretty name....I love horses..they are such elegant creatures. One of my uncles used to always have horses and I can remember him wanting to put me on one when I was very young and it scared me..so I ran...oh buddy, that was a mistake because the horse came after me..it left that imprinted fear in me to this day. So I admire them from the side of the fence they are not in..LOL

Ronna, hope your sinuses are better. I know the pollen is about to take Thomas under..he's never has sinus troubles til we came to this area.

Carol Sue, How are you feeling..is that new med still doing the trick?

I am sure it is old, it is a climber...not too sure what kind it is. I have about 18 roses and I do not know what kind any of them are adn I really am not too sure how to figure it out either. But usually throughout the summer it has no less than 50 to 100 blooms as it is a pretty good size.

Beautiful rainbow! Thanks Jess- I'm just now getting back into the yard since the wedding- it really burned me out.

It is already really hot and unseasonably dry for Louisiana- I am having to water pretty regularly over the last 2 weeks or so.
Gotta run- I want to go see Stephs new updated blog.
Love ya girls!

Blessings,

Well I have fought without surrendering on the 3 column blog template for mywww.dreamkingdomdesigns.blogspot.com blog. I found it out there for free and decided I could dissect it and have! There's a piece of code I'm missing..can't get my header exactly centered but I'll find it eventually..figure it's good to go for now.

Now to start editing some fabric photos I took real quick yesterday..it'll give y'all a peek at what's coming..so much to sort out..

I'll let ya know when I have some up to look at.

hope you find that cherry pie recipe...
way cool hoosier Steph...now I wanna see how much fabric you have...all this talk of filling the boat and truck with fabric...I just picture this huge boat filled to over flowing with fabric...and a truck filled so full the driver barely fits....so..yeah..prove my weird imagination wrong...or right...which ever....rofl

Hey Naomi,

Yeah, that hoosier is special to me!

Ok, your imagination is not too weird..we had to remove 3 huge bags of fabric from the boat because it was really lowering the trailer tires..LOL And the bed of the truck was overloaded too once the boat was hooked up to it so had to remove bags from the truck..so we were overly optimistic on how much we could get in one trip....so guess what? next trip we are gonna go rent one of the Penske trailers to hook to the truck..woohoo!! They are designed to carry a heavy load without so much distress to the truck.

I'm editing photos now so I'll have pictures on my dkd blog in a few hours.
