Going to get the blood work done today. The lab was closed after we were done with the doctor. My son had a excuse to be out of school for 3 days, but he went today anyways, because he can't skip out on his college classes. I notified one of his professors.
I overslept today. I usually wake up at 5 am or so on M,W,F, but woke up just before 6:30. Son's class starts at 7 am. Dh woke up and took my son to school. Now, mind you, 5 am is too early and so is 6:30, but what we do for our kids. |

Hey y'all,
I'm working out the kinks in this 3 coloum blogger template that I found for free..it's not one that is offered when you sign up so I'm having to edit the html code.
Anyhow, will you go to the blog and leave me a comment as to how your monitor is viewing it? I need to know if someone on a 19,17,or 15 inch monitor is having to scroll horizontally to see everything on the page..Tell me what size monitor you are viewing it from too.

Thanks!!!

Well Autumn, it's probably just luck that you even saw my name on the blog..LOL I found a 3 coloum template and decided I could disect it and make it work....well, it partly works and partly doesn't!
So anyhow..I'll leave it be til I get back in town..I'll be pulling out in the morning (thursday) and be back Saturday or Sunday with fabric in tow..whoohoo!! Bonne I'm gonna try to mail your yarn from Alabama so I don't have to haul it back here. I know that sounds way too organized but that's the plan..got your address in my purse.
Autumn, that's a scream that you too have hauled off barkcloth! Gosh, if I had just kept those pink suede leather "over the knee" boots from about 35 years ago..ROTF It really is true..wait long enough and everything makes full circle.
Sharon hang in there..it's gonna get better!
Bev, Sheryl, Naomi, Jess, Nashbabe, Carol Sue, Karin, Kathie, Linda, Sarah, Katmom..gosh I know I may have forgot someone but you know it's not on purpose!
Y'all have a great holiday weekend!
Hugs...

Autumn, yes, you read right, we'll be moving farther south, originally we were thinking north Alabama, but we've concentrated on moving closer to family, will make more people happy...us, plus family..:D We arent sure exactly *when* the move will happen, but are certainly hoping for next year sometime.
I have been sewing, last night I made a denim market bag, love how it turned out, and tonight am working on another of my mushroom tote bags, same colors and basic idea, but bigger..:D will get everything listed in the next few days, need to start saving money for my shopping excursions with my friend that lives in the town we will be moving to/near...rofl...

didn't mention much about the move as I didn't want folks thinking "gee whiz can't those folks make up their mind about what they want and where they wanna be?"..ha. but yes...after much, much talk and much more talk and weighing the pros and cons..hubby and I decided..nope it wouldn't be Thomasville, nope it wouldn't be Huntsville..but it would be near family..and my hubby's family is in Ocala..so..we also are aiming for putting the house on the market hopefully by January..so I'll be busy getting things ready. This decision just felt so much more "right" than the others did..and we all are very excited about it. I've been contacting the area home school support group and have already begun recieving nice welcoming type emails from a few of the gals in the home schooling support group in the area...so that's pretty nice too. And hubby has a few friends in the area so..it will be nice. And my inlaws of course are very favourable towards the decision and are encouraging us more so about this decision than any of the other ideas we had.We are hoping to be able to find a home on at least an acre so that we can still have the chickens and duck and of course garden. Ideally 2 acres would be perfect..but I'll settle for one. I just want to be able to have a large garden and the chickens..and I can be happy with that. We of course do not want a home smack dab in town..we are going to be looking for something a bit rural, but convenient. Anyhow..I'll be busy, busy getting things here market ready. and a cool thing is my mom in law knows a gal in the area that does market gardening for area resturaunts and chefs by growing things hydroponically..so..I am hoping to look into doing a bit of gardening that way when we get situated..and..I really hope to have a small greenhouse at a new place. So..I am actually getting excited about the possibilities. The area is so much more family friendly than here and there are so many more opportunities for the kids there/many more family friendly places to go and things to do.

| Gals, the blood work results came back today. It is good news, but not good news. They ruled out Hepatitis A,B, & C. The bad news is that they do not know what organism it is. DS's liver still hurts, and he is to have new blood work done in a couple of weeks. |

i like the pink one...great pocket.
You know my daughter had a similar issue a few years ago. We had Riley docs working on her and our regular ones. It took 4 months to work it out and several different meds...more than 2 dozen docs, blood tests, spiking temps, ER visits, and no one ever figured it out...finally they gave her a really strong antibiotic that they told me they reserve for only those who are immune to all others...and it worked...but no one could ever put a name on it or place what it was. The funny thing was that my kids never have had antibiotics, until this one time and whatever it was...it was immune to all things they gave her.

Jessica, that is very interesting. This ds is the one who gets sick a lot, but not the younger son.
Bev., I love the aprons. That design is similar to the one I saw on Ebay. Very, very, cute. |

Sharon, hugs while you are waiting for them to figure this out.
Wow Tina, keep telling us what is goin on. How awesome that move is sounding.
Thinking of ya Steph.
Bev, I absolutely adore the green apron and the flowers on it.
I am watching it rain again. Kinda soggy off and on here, I think we are suppose to get one day of sun this weekend. Hey I will take one, then I can sew for the rest right!!!!! Haven't made my apron for this yet, contemplating what I want to make for the 1 year anniversary. Hey on the 31st of this month I will have been here a year. Wow, that went fast. And thank you each for being such a major part of my life. You girls have been there for my ups and downs especially with the Fibro and the help you have been just getting me through some of my worst days and you didn't even know it. Yes, I am waxing mushy here.
Teresa is makin some soup for us and she is sewing my waistband minis and I am ironin them as fast as I can go so she can put them on. Hey will be done today thanks to here sweet help. Thank goodness.
Ohhhh Karin, thanks for my buttons. Girls she sent me a tin full of buttons. I so want to go play in them but told myself I coudn't until the minis are done. So gonna go casue I soooooo want to play in them.

| Gals, we are in the midst of a harsh storm system. There has been hail, lightning, and loud thunder. We will see if our electricity stays on. |
