Bev, Well ya know in most of the magazines I've picked up in the past few months they are all pushing the use of half aprons in the home decorating theme. I think it's too cool..You could maybe corner the market using the apron as home decor..

Bev, the shawl is a combo of "stained glass" fancy fur: scroll down to the color swatches http://www.lionbrand.com/yarns/fancyFur.htm
and a black worsted with a silky rayon fringing.

Kathie, I hope Syd is ok and that Annie doesn't come down with any symptons to keep him company. It is always so worrisome to us when the fur babies get sick.

All that cotton yarn, and that tube tope are beautiful, it is always such a treat to see what everyone else is doing.

Bev, your apron is fabulous.

I haven't accomplished anything at all today, escept to go to my quilting group and get roped in to teach crazy quilt stitches at the next meeting....Karin

Kathie, Hate to sound gross BUT is there any blood or mucus showing up in the poop or is it very very dark?? Doggies can pick up Coccidiosis from their moms if she is a carrier...Puppies under 6 months old have no immunity to coccidia....A sulphur drug will clear it up pretty quick...I bought a puppy (4 months) and he had it...didn't take long to fix him up and feel better.

Major puppy prayers comin your way girl!!!!!

Wow, I thought I would be able to catch up easily today, you girls have been a chatting and having wad loads of fun.

Bonne, love the tank top but I would put it on and it would roll off my boobs and into the roll on my tummy and think ahhh...lol I like the colors too.

Stephanie your baby girl is the bomb with her halter. I like seeing the pictures. My mom gave me directions on how to maybe do mine better. Haven't tried it out yet as you can tell.

Roseanna Danna...I haven't thought of some of those great shows in a while. Not really into the reality ones, except I like Dancing with the Stars, is that considered reality.

Kathie lets us know.....

Kathie- I hope Syd doesn't have parvo. I have worked in a vet clinic during what we used to call "Parvo Season". I hope he feels much better. Maybe he was just a bad puppy and snuck too much people food?

Bonne, I totally understand about the "no custom orders"...when I was in business I had total creative freedom or else I didn't take the job.

Nashbabe, You think that yarn is a nice "still life"...wait til y'all see all of my fabric I'm bringing from the house and putting in a STORAGE ROOM!!!! because this small apartment won't begin to hold it. I won't need to large of one since I have given away alot of it in the past several years but there's still a major lot of it.

Before you think I'm totally crazy for having all of this let me tell you a bit of history.

I started collecting vintage and of course new fabric about 8 years ago..had a studio in my cottage and made custom ordered Memory Quilts and sold the fabric to those that did their own sewing or wanted something worked into the design for their quilt. Yes, believe it or not I used to be very productive with my sewing and made great money and loved all of my customers so much and truly loved what I did. I had to sell my farm and therefore my business also closed after 3 years of building it to a constant flow of customers. Lots of details inbetween that I won't bore you with..

Anyhow, my sister also collected vintage fabrics..her husband retired, they decided to buy an RV and go full time with the traveling so she starts cleaning out her house and naturally I got ALL of her collection minus some of her drop dead for Wilendur Tableclothes and Floral Barkcloths...but I got lots of beautiful stuff to add with what I already had.

I gave away a bunch of it after Hurricane Ivan since that was around the time I closed the studio and sold the farm. Then after Hurricane Katrina I gave away more...lots of Hobnail bedspreads..I think I'm down to ONLY 75 vintage Chenille and a few Hobnails now..Very few are perfect but most are just beautiful even with their small holes and minor flaws..I'm most likely going to start cutting them up and selling them for making pillows, purses, aprons, etc...

So there ya go...a little history of how I wound up with such a collection. I guess I've held on to what I have since it brings back so many good memories of the business I once had. I have drug my feet on starting my internet business for many emotional reasons. It's silly, I know but I've just been froze up mentally with it. But now I need to DO IT!! Just like Kathie NEEDS to start a BLOG!! LOL

I'll enjoy sharing some of this fabric with you ladies since I can still see it when you make something and pet it on the computer monitor..LOL

Hugs...

Karin, I wish I lived close to you so you could teach this "left" hand of mine all those stitches..I can do some of them but some twist my brain due to having to look at it backwards.
