OMG.....I HAVE THAT LEOPARD SUIT!!! Way too funny, Bonne. Oh, yes, and I know who I can get a whip from...(don't I Jess?)(no, not from Jess)
I could always use a riding crop! Ya hear that Kathie???? Get busy.... Blog, blog, blog, blog.......that was the sound of all of us chanting, Kathie! So I think you should use the pic of your new doll as your banner at the top of your blog...perhaps Tales From the Dark Side???? as your title....just kidding, but maybe not?
Well, I gotta walk my dogs and then a bit of sewing, making supper...and tonight is class night.
I am trying to post a picture of my apron that I just made but photobucket is P.....ing me off. So you will have to find the pic on my blog. Sorry.

Kathy, your stories are always a scream..your BLOG will be great!
oh yes, Laverne....another scream..you know I've seen a few kids dressed like that and I'm sure they think they are the first to think of it and they aren't doing a skit..LOL
Yep Cher...after a half dozen face lifts and god only what else... now has her own casino in Vegas...she just keeps on ticking.
What kills me is to see the kids & (young adults)....no, not you Jess ...that are dressing in the hip hugger bell bottoms, halter tops, mini skirts, tie dye and such and they think THEY invented it..guess that makes me love my tie dyed caftans even better..when a youngun compliments me on my tie dye I always remind them that I wear it because "I'm one of the ORIGINAL hippies"...ROTF They just look at me like...What the hell is this woman talking about. They really don't even know about it unless they read the history books..LOL
Jess, I know you have to enjoy seeing and hearing the reactions when you mention that you have 7 children and now expecting another one. You know my Thomas is the next to oldest of 8 children. That accounts for his dishwashing, ironing and other general cleaning abilities..he helped his mom raise the younger ones..He is 61 now and the youngest sister just turned 47..so she was a tiny thing when he was old enough to left home.
So what's everyone doing? I'm crocheting and did a bit of needlefelting lastnight...

I love roseanne roseannadanna...old sat night live rocks...ogh yes mr bill still makes me laugh hysterically...and a new character, but not really new..Pat.
My first major sewing project was a pair of blue velvet blell bottom hip huggers that I made of pattern for off a pair of my mom's originals.....i was 13 or so and they are fab..I will never part with them even though I will never again fit them.

I'm trying to crochet.....haven't really ever made anything since high school and that was some simple beaded belts(a la 70's, ya know)~LOL So I did a bunch of dishcloths and now started a tank top. Here is what I've got so far. I love these ombre cotton yarns~does all the work for you as far as color pattern.

I did.. I keep her in the Sewing room..As soon as I saw she was out that night I shut the vent in there Since yes.. she's a climber.. clever girl.. I've done a nice sweep of the room.. curtains (Which is a quilt.. duh..) blinds.. lamp shade.. tops of book cases FABRIC.. yes.. i KNOW!! & I've even kept a close Eye on her SISTER'S to see if she's tried to visit! I'm not seeing any signs of her.. Little Witch! She's going to pull a very bad celebrity move & come out at the worst possible moment.. & being the kinda girl she is.. She'll jump.. yes.. it's NOT going to be Pretty! As much as i liked her.. I'm really just hoping to find her dead little rump right now rather then Deal with Butch over this! This Is Zacahry's fault Just so ya know! NOT Zoey or Myself... no.. the 9 year old Girl is fine in there.. It's the jerky teenage boys that were not so careful!
Ooooo La La Bonne! that is Pretty.. Pretty.. Pretty!!
Especially since you haven't done it in forever!

I've got some really pretty varigated cones of yarn coming tomorrow. I was stuck with the Walmart cones in pastels until I found the "Peaches'nCreme" online store. OMG!! I hate/love how I cycle in crafts~just when I thought I was over my yarn fetish.......... |

Oh man, I wish I still had my first hip huggers, size 0...woohoo. I'd frame those babies and hangum on the wall.
Bonne, looks like you're doing fine with that tube top..My very favorite yarn to work with right now is the colinette "jitterbug"..it's a fingering weight merino wool superwash and comes in a gazillion colorways...and since the present generation of crocheters are into crocheting every kind of fruit and piece of food you can imagine (another flashback to the 70's and they don't know it) I've been playing around with it..
I admire y'all that can do these big quilts, tubetops..well maybe I could hang in there long enough to do a tubetop if I dared put my midsection in one these days..LOL

Oh, that'll be cute Bonne...still you'll look much better in it than I would.
Ok..here's one picture of yarn. These are the jitterbug, lorna's lace, cherry tree hill and I like crocheting with the #5 pearl cottons..It's been years since I've been close to this many nice yarn shops so I've gone a bit wild on the good stuff....more is on my queenofdreamsz blog

Just finished another apron...posted on blog...darned photobucket! Now, I have got to throw together some dinner and make myself presentable to the arthritic public (class). This new apron whips together in an hour! Woooo Hoooooo! Maybe someday I will re-open the old etsy and try to sell again....but not while the economy sucks like this. Stockpiling for now (if they don't all get adopted out as gifts).
Bonne....love the tank/tube!
Yes, Roseann Roseannadanna! Perfect for Kathie! I used to love those old comedy shows...how about Carol Burnett? Laugh-In? The Smothers Brothers? Beats reality TV anyday! Who needs reality anyways?

Thanks..
I must say, Steph, Miss Morgan really seems to like to dress up! She's got that "Well, now look at me!" look on her face....so adorable. I cannot imagine dressing Maddie up...now that would be a funny one. Think you could crochet a newfie vest?? Oh, Bonne, that tank would probably fit her...she would be such a stylish Newf! Actually, she needs something frilly so that you can tell she is a "SHE"!

Bev, that is such a pretty apron..You know you could start a "Apron of the month" club kind of like they offer the quilting "block of the month"...
I wish you would start making some half aprons..I'll buy them....you know I've added that to my "Things I Collect" list... I don't necessarily want to wear them but want to stock pile them for decorating windows, walls, around bathroom sinks...you know all that country primitive type of decorating. I have this vision for my future cabin or another cottage whichever it may be. And plus this apartment needs major help.
