Grace, Why is it so easy for us ladies to throw things away yet men always think they can fix it? Sometimes I have to bring things to work to throw them away. When Jeff askes about it I shurg my shoulders and say "I don't know, I must be in the basement." Then is a forgotten item. So anyway....not to be a pest...how are our blocks coming along???The new due date is the 15th.

I'm still working on my blocks. This has been just an awful month for me, craft-wise. I've been sick, my husband has been sick, he's been off work and home, so wants to sit with me in the evenings (not complaining about that, but he doesn't really like me to sit and stitch when we're not watching TV, so I don't get much sewing or knitting done), I was at our daughter's in Phoenix for a week, and she had a full agenda for us and no sewing machine, and then at a seminar for three days, so I'm sooooooooo far behind in my Christmas crafting it isn't even funny! My goal is to get them done and in the mail by Friday. kt

Kathy, (ktknits) My husband is the same way. He has been on disability since July. He wants to spend all his time with me.(he misses me when I am at work) I use to be able to hide in my sewing room, but now his HO trains are set up in the basement just 15 feet from my sewing machine. I will be sewing along and next thing you know he is looking over my shoulder asking me to come look at something or help him with something. Of course I don't mind. He does not have all his strength back yet. I would do anything he asks its just sometimes I want to be alone too. I tried to knit or do a little needle work as we watch TV, but I'll be honest, I have all I can do to stay awake let alone count stitches and watch TV. I was working on the Red, White and Blue blocks again the other night. I am almost done. I can't wait to put together these winter blocks. Every block so far is different from each other. Nice variety. I am going to dedicate all my spare time on constructing a winter theme quilt even if I have to take a day off work. (day off work sound like a good idea don't you think?) Oh, is the weather bad by any of you. Some of my companys branch offices in KA and ID closed because of ice and or snow.

I know how some of you who have not had sewing time lately feel! I was having trouble getting any sewing in for the first few months I was back to school. That was so weird. Now I am back on track, but those few months I got nothing done and it was frustrating. Hope you are all well and looking forward to the holidays when you will hopefully get to rest and work on your own stuff. |

Good morning FarmGirls!. I hope you all had a great Christmas Holiday! Well I received all of our blocks. I am currently working on some labels. A lot of the blocks have no name on them. I am going to get these blocks out this afternoon. Please let me know when you have all received them. Thank you all very much for participating in my swap. I know you all will love the blocks you receive back.
