Autumn, that is truly a work of art.

I have a question that may have already been answered. How do you mark your quilts? Do you use a stencil and if so where do you get them?

Autumn, it took me a while to find the picture of your quilt, i do remember seeing it minus borders a long time ago. It is absolutely gorgeous! Good job, I am very impressed. I love the border, it is just sweet as all get out.

Autumn,

How fun to see your topic again.
The applique is awesome. I think two years
is a record completion considering all the interruptions
you have had. Can't wait to see it quilted. Quilts
are always so inspiring to me.

Thanks! I really need to decide on the pieces for joining the swags- it's just a small circle or diamond to applique over the spot where the swags meet but it will make a huge difference in the overall look.

Do I go with a muted color or one that POPS!!! Decisions decissions!!!
I'm leaning toward another red print- but I dont want it to scream christmas.
Any ideas out there?

Blessings,
Autumn

Autumn,

I think the same green or the other neutral color on the swags would be good for the joining of them..that way the main design pops first.

I went to quilt class last Wed...4 hours..
I felt so clumsy that the hardest part was measuring and cutting.
I did finish 15 blocks and had several more cut and halfway sewn. A new measure and cutting technique I hadn't seen...so that was good.
Teacher says it is a beginners quilt but the first one I did wasn't.
I paid $20 for the 4 hours but I think it's worth it.
I'll take some pics when I can...it is pinks!
