Thank you, ladies. All your prayers have really helped me. I was calm most of Sunday. The prayers were answered as God created an opening with teh doctor for me for yesterday.
So, the story is that this is not expected or normal. I thank God that I have been persueing the whole pain down the leg issue and not giving up. The spot is actually above the right hip, on my back wall. It must be pressing the nerve that feeds down my right leg. There are some slightly swollen lymph nodes in the right groin as well. It can not be seen where they do the ultrasound on me in June. Because the lymph nodes were clear, there was no anticipation of a problem that high up. The chest xrays kind of cover the issue of spreading anywhere. So, this MRI that was ordered by the other doctor was where it was seen.
So, I am still praying for grace and healing, praying it is benign. God hears our petitions. I have shifted a lot this time around, really trying to let go of fear and just place it in his hands. He keeps doing these things to reassure me it will be all right like getting me in with the doctor. I am sure he will create and opening this week for the biopsy appointment as well.

I'm still praying and sending hugs & love your way Clare. You know so much more now than you did when this first hit you several years ago. Now you know the signs to look for, the things to do, the calls to make, the questions to ask, etc. I pray that God will give you the wisdom to know just how to proceed, and the strength and peace to know you are doing what's best for yourself.

I've got dates, ladies. If you can please pray for me and the doctor on these dates, I will feel so grateful.
Friday, August 31st I go for CT scan and bloodwork.
Thursday, Septemeber 6 I go for consult and then a biopsy.
Septmeber 10 appointment with oncologist for report/results

Hang in there. Staying calm will help. I think cancer feeds on worries and grows faster when we are upset (personal theory). Sure sending positive soothing thoughts your way, and hope it all goes well. Don't forget to notice the wonderful and beautiful parts of life right now too.

Hi Clare,
My prayers are with you and will be especially on Aug. 31st and Sept. 6. In fact, on Sept 6, a group of Spokane area farmgirls are getting together for lunch and I sure hope none of them is "anti-religeous" because I have every intention of leading the group in a special prayer for you!! So just know you will be remembered and prayed over far and wide by farmgirls all over!
Right now I especially pray God's peace over you at night. May you hold tightly to the vision of you nestled securely in his lap.

OK, bloodwork done and CT scan done. I am so very grateful for all your prayers and love pouring out for me. it has helped me tremendously. I am making my own little Comfort book with all your prayers and good wishes so I can read it when the blues hit.
Next week another big day, a little nervous. I need to call to know what to expect to make it easier on myself.
