Ladies, thank you so much for the blocks in the swap. I think each block swap has been wonderful. I am so excited to get these into a top. I am going t oshop for sashing fabric Sat just for this. If I can cut and start and get the top together by next weekend, my firend can machine quilt i for me. I want to have it to cover myself during treatment days and resting in between at my sisters.

You gals really outdid yourself on the blocks. I will lable Cheryl's and julia's blocks. Thank you!!

I knew there was something I forgot! I meant to label the blocks that came without tags. So now we got to have a little scavenger hunt to see which farmgirl they belonged to. Sorry! I am so happy you all like your blocks. I love them too!

I am so amazed at how talented you all are. Even my husband was very much impressed.
I was debating what to do w/mine and I think I will just stick w/plan A, to put sashing between each block & then bring it all together. I have a curtain rod attached to a wall that I use for displaying various quilts & art work. I am going to put up a second one on the other side of my window so I can display more works of art.
I can hardly wait to proudly assemble & display your talented works. Thank you so very much.
If I had to choose my favorite block, well, I am afraid I could not because each is my favorite.
Thank you ladies so very much.

You're better than I am then! I pray for patience every day. Funny how I have it with my students (ok, so not ALL of the time) but I cannot always manage that patience with my hobbies!

I got my sashing and cornerstone fabrics today. My daughter went with me to the little local quilt store, and we picked a light gold for the sashing and a brown flowered print with small cream and blue floweres. It was withthe help of the store owner, and I am just waiting for the fabric to dry in drper so I can cut tomorrow. Thank you again, ladies.

You need 4 more then? I will see what I have in my dining room. You should have gotten two from kt knits, and you got none? You must be the one I woke up thinking about. I thought it was Sunshine, but it was you. I will see what I have here and send some more your way. Does it matter it you if they are yours or not? email me your address again and I will send some your way. Sorry about that!!

just wondering if any one has assembled tops yet for us all to see. I am working on mine. I think this will be fun for next year as I doubt I have time to quilt it now.

if you do sashing with corner blocks it is easy to keep it lined up as the seams have to match where if you do just sashing it is a guessing game that is hard to win

yes my corner blocks always start out right, but by the last one I am usually off by a 1/4" or so, usually frustrates me and I never catch it until I have finished sewing and I cannor bear ripping it out.
