| We finally have a place to call "The Farm". A lifetime of dreaming has brought me to this place...it's more a place in my heart than a place on the map though. It's perfect. It's more than I ever would have thought to have asked the Lord for. Right now it's as I tell my kids, an empty farm as it lacks the buildings and animals common to a farm. But it's ours... As this is my first post, I just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration you all have given to me. At times when the farm seemed difficult to attain I found the fire of hope rekindled with the fulfillment of your dreams with the everydayness of your farm lives...For those of you who have farms of their own...enjoy...for those of you still dreaming...keep that dream alive... |

How exciting for you Brooke...and welcome to the group, by the way.I noticed this was your first post! I look forward to hearing about your adventures on the farm. YOu arn't too awfully far from here. We actually have some friends here from Evanston! I am right in the middle of Utah.

Welcome to another Wyoming Farmgirl! I am originally from Worland, WY! I hope your farm continues to grow! I know how hard it can be to get the land just to even start a farm. :)

Congratulations on the farm and welcome to the Farmgirls! I am still in the dreaming phase but these gals here sure keep your spirits up and your dreams alive!

Congratulations on your dream come true! It sounds wonderful. I try not to get frustrated at the pace our place makes progress. I think of my grandpa who has owned the same property for 70 years and he still has things to fix and change to make it just right! Whenever I get impatient, I look back at pictures of what we started with and I realize how far we have come. Enjoy living your dream!
