I took this book out of the library because I liked the pictures. These great pictures of vintage cookbooks and beautiful photographs of baked goods...now I use to make my living in a ktichen so I am hard to impress recipewise. These recipes are great...the two I have tried so far anyway....I just made "Mary Williams Coffee Cake with Streusel" for a meeting at work tomorrow and it is fantastic...moist and was so quick to make! It's a recipe from the 1940's...I am actually going to go buy this book! Its called Heirloom Baking by the Brass sisters

I'll have to look for that one too. I love the old recipes...not that I have cooked/baked many of them!!

Yes, the book is called Heirloom Baking. I looked online and since it is fairly new there are no cheapy used prices out there it sells from around 21.00- 23.00 ...so I think I am just going to look at Walmart or next time I am up in the city at the Barnes and Noble. No need to pay more for shipping if I am not gettig a good deal
