My name is Linda and I am from Louisiana. I just 'happened' to see Mary Jane's Magazine and feel in love with it. I read it completely in one night--- I loggged on to my computer, typed in the website to become a part of this group.

I grew up on a farm---I couldn't get to the city fast enough after graduation. I lived on our farmland for years after I married, however, it is no longer a working farm. My Father died 33 years ago and everything was sold except the land. ( none of us were interested in maintaining the farm) I was only 23 at the time and did not think about stepping up top the plate.

My life is different today---I live in a small city --I love my home and am grateful have a safe place, however....as the saying goes " you can take a girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl " that just about describes me !!

Linda H.

Hello everyone,

I am wondering if there is anyone from Tennessee out there. We are going there on vacation Tuesday. We are driving so we can check out the scenery and maybe find a nice hobby farm area to relocate one day. I live in Maine and winters are getting longer and colder! Karen
