Can you taste it!! Hi everyone. Just checking in on the road to Texas, in search of higher education and a more simple, rural, country life. Just leaving California, I can feel my stress level come down about 5 degrees. I love it !! Driving through a LOT of desert but occasionally, finding a lovely little home of solitude along the way and wondering "who lives there, what do they do? how peaceful." Gosh, just getting away from the California city, I noticed a change in attitude for the better. Everyone has been so friendly and nice and just so much fun to chat with. I knew once I got out of California, things would be different, but not this fast!! I hope everyone is doing well. Just catching up on all the latest here. I am most excited that I have found some farmgirl clothing in our few stops on our way to San Antonio. YIPEEEE!!

You sound happy and in love! There is something about rolling down the window while you are driving at highway speed and feeling the way the air moves silkily around my hand that just feels so freeing! Whenever I am having a stressful day I drive and play "airplane" out my window to relieve the stress! Maybe your drive across a few states has done the same thing! Blown the city smog right off!
