Geez, we're busy here too--all UGLY stuff too--and I thought all the Psycho people were in Indiana today.

Well ,, My fellow Slackers.. ( yes.. i know how incorrect THAT statement is.. since we are NO where NEAR our estimated friendly deadline..) But!! guess what was in MY mail box tonight when I got home??

I am DONE too!! I am so excited. They will be off in the mail tomorrow if I can take a picture of them all together tonight. This was a lot more fun than I had thought (they are so small!!) and I would do this again anytime. I am NEVER done this far ahead of schedule, but have some quilt block deadlines for clubs I belong to here on Long Island. (My quilt shop has the best classes and clubs!!)

I am a procrastonator,,,,, mine have been done & sitting on my sewing table. I was suppose to get by the P.O. on Monday, never did..., but I did get them mailed out today, yipppeeeee!
So Miss Kathy, you should receive them by next week, depending on the service of the U.S. Snail Mail....

So glad they made it....... I mailed them late Monday too........ not bad. It is 12:30 here so I need to get my butt in bed. I get insomnia when my hubby is gone. I have to take my Mom and my girls shopping tomorrow too.
You girls get crackin' on the aprons you hear!!! Wink ;o) And don't try and burn off your fingertips like I did. Next time I am using binding for the waistband!!!!

Had quilt group tonight, so didn't sew, had a tea party instead and am stuffed. Moving is a challenge........

No, I am not getting your replies, I didn't know you were getting mine. Every time I write you an email it returns back to me, saying it is from you and it is the email I wrote you. Ehhh gads how do we fix this........ I will check my spam to make sure they didn't go there. You are in my address book so it should come through. Ughhhh, I love them but hate them. Only 11'45 here but strawberry picking will be here before you know it......

| They are in the mail!! I brought them around town to show them off first though! My friends at the quilt shop loved them and so did my friends at the Post Office. I think you will all like them, and even though I did not sign them or put pockets on them, you will remember which ones are mine since I used my embroidery machine on them all. I cannot do the signature thingie on my little projects...why is that? Too small I guess. |

Jess I have been wondering too.. What to do.. yes, A garland seems obvious.. doesn't it.. ?
& one Girl told me she has hers in her sewing room on the window so she see's it..( The Garland..) Everytime she walks in there..
I really like that idea.. Like a "Mini Apron Window Garland Valance"!
(Whew! This discription is getting long!!)
What do you think?
& then as you get more.. You can add more rows to the Garland..
Eventualy creating a little curtain really! but it will have spaces.. where the sun peeks through between each Apron!
AND!! You could even put Lace behind it if you wanted to!
Wouldn't THAT really make them stand out!

I can see your kitchen now.... Apron curtains, mini apron tie backs, toaster cover made w/appliqued mini aprons, & thoes little kitchen towels w/the apron looking tops!!!!
Call the paramedic's, major OD on mini aprons!!!! hahaha!

hey jessica,
emails backfiring again, I have no idea......
I haven't sewed today, cause I went and strawberry picked with the dd and dgd. You should have seen their very juicy covered mouths and faces. What a riot.
I keep looking at them sitting in here and know I need to do them and just blahhh, what the heck is wrong with me.
At this rate, I will really be the last one done!!!!!!

ok, I can see we are gonna have to plan a once a month play date for all
the Spokane farmgals, sort of a "girls nite out" to bring an unfinished project, x-stitch, crochet/knit or handie work to work on, sort of like a quilting bee get together!
To be followed with assorted gabbing not to mention, dessert & tea/coffee.....
