If I could start a business:
I would love to own a farm inn. A place where families can come and see the animals, eat food that is home grown and maybe even have some of our musician and artist friends teach and entertain. I'd love to cook Sunday dinners for families and have us all sit together and talk and learn.
No TV,phone or computers allowed while you visit.
My husband and I are thinking about this for retirement even though it would be lots of work. |

If I could help someone in pain take their life...
Well, I had often pondered this,and then when my first husband was very young, he was diagnosed with cancer. He was a tough guy and beat it for 10 years, but finally when he was 33 he was bedridden. We had two little ones and he was in agony. He begged me to help him "end it," but I could not when it came right down to it. I was so worried that if God really does condemn suicide, then maybe he would not have been forgiven and neither would I. I finally got hospice to come and we were able to get the drugs to help him even more, but it was not pain free. Finally, after a long battle, he was not even in pain anymore (he passed that part of life that had feeling) and he quietly closed his eyes and passed on. We were all there and helped him feel safe and loved.
I am not sure that I could do that again, though. It was torture for all of us. |

Hmmm, although I have been married twice, I would have to say that dh number two is my soulmate. We are connected in a way that I never was with anyone before. Even when I get all wrinkly and shriveled, he will still see me as I was when he fell for me. (I expect and hope to be really, really old when we die, so that explains my future wrinkly state!:) |

| I'd live by the mountains too!! That is something else on the list for my husband and me! We live by the beach now and enjoy it, but as long as there is a river or lake on our property or street, we could give up the ocean and the sound I think. I am aching for mountain views every day! |

gosh .. another 'heavy' question .. i'm not sure i have a lot of hope for the future of humans .. unless their is a major event that brings us all together in this 'ole world! (but i do believe this is quite a distance off .. or hope so anyway!)

IF YOU WERE CREMATED WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE YOUR ASHES SPREAD.
i do want to be 'cremated' (instant energy) .. and whoever goes first .. (honey or me) .. save the ashes in a beautiful urn in a beautiful church in carolina .. with a mausaleum of sorts with beautiful vases and urns of ashes of those gone before .. and when the OTHER goes .. combine our ashes in the same urn .. forever! (no SPREADING!!!)

IF YOU WERE TO OWN A FABULOUSLY IMPRACTICAL CAR .. WHAT CAR WOULD IT BE?
i owned it already. a fire-engine red BMW Z-3 .. a christmas gift to me a few years ago from my 'two husbands'.
soooooo impractical at the time because i could only take one passenger .. our teenage daughter lived with us .. and ALWAYS had lots of friends she wanted to bring along! we also had two other cars .. one for me by far more 'practical'
i asked for a JEEP .. and got a PURPLE one (the teenage kind!) again .. impractical .. because i liked to haul antiques .. and it didn't have much 'hauling' space .. and it could not be 'locked' (soft top).
now i have a 'practical car' .. a VAN! and i love it! fulfills lots of purposes!

WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO SPEND A RAINY WEEKEND.
nestled in the cabins .. sitting on the porch .. watching and listening to the rain .. sleeping on the screen-porch at night .. making dollies (and whoopie) .. listening to great music .. reading books with honey hunk.

can't think of anything i would change in these cabins (have pretty much made the changes we want already) .. but sure would like to move yet another old log cabin down here in this hollow!
