Hey, if we want to make this the longest thread, we're going to have to kill that Word Association thread that's still going on!! :)

On topic, I worked on the dolly aprons and got all the small pieces of fabric ready for the mini aprons last night - they're so cute!!

Isn't it beautiful, I just love it and it has a great pocket, big enough for all kinds of goodies, and it is fairly hidden.

Kathy, What a lovely story about your relationship with your late grandgfather. Your apron idea is absolutely sweet! I'd love to see it on this site. I have always had a love for aprons and have sewn and given away more than I've kept. I have a great stash of fabrics than I would like get into real soon and make myself a few more aprons. Once again I"m hearing about an etsy site. I have figured out that it is a site to sell handmade products? Can anyone tell me what "etsy" means and how to set up a site. I am really curious. Tracy

Hi Tracy, I set up an etsy to try to offset the cost of sewing all these darn aprons!!! Go to ETSY.com and they walk you right through it. It is easy as pie! And loads of fun, too. I still have not sold enough to break even, but it is still lots of fun to try! (gotta support my habit...you know....the fabric addiction!)

Oh yea, all of you gals.....it is time to model your own aprons so we can see all of your beautiful faces! It is wonderful to have faces to put with names. You are all such amazingly wonderful women...and I am blessed to call so many of you "friends"...let's have faces to go with the names.....you first, Jess!!!

Keep Smiling.....Bev

Not all of us look like you Bev!!!! 7 kids later...you get the picture..things just aren't where they used to be...it could be worse, but after the last one things just did not snap back like usual...hmmmmmmm, I wonder why. where did that 19 yr old 100 pound body go anyway...ha! Maybe I can get my husband to take a pic of me in my apron from Clare...she made me a wonderful apron that is not on this sew-along yet, and it really should be, even has a matching hairtie. I have tried to stay internet anonymous, we will see if I get my courage up!...jess

I will if I can use someone else's body, and face and hair and well............I'm with you Jess, I used to be slim and svelt and atheletic, but gravity and a back injury have taken their toll on me. (Has nothing to do with the fact that I also love to eat!) LOL Can't find a decent bra to lift these girls anymore either, so anything I wear just looks dowdy.....boo hoo, wah, wah.....get out the teeny, tiny fiddles and I'll cry a river. LOL.....

Maybe if the moon is just right (none) and no flash on the camera.
