Lucky friend! I've got some pink and brown I'll be using real soon too. I love the apron.....LOVE the apron!!! And that really is a cool looking tag! I've been sewing little "made with love" charms on each apron lately. Sometimes I forget though, but I try to get them on all of them.

Pink and brown and pink and aqua and pink and black are my favorite colors for aprons!!

Well, gee, thanks! The little tag says madrekarin and it is made from- are you ready for this?- shrinky dink plastic for your laser jet printer!! So cool! All you do is print your design on a sheet, cut them out, poke a hole in each side, shrink them and then give the tags a coat of clear nail polish to seal the design. Very, very versatile.

Karin that is just waaaaayyyyyyy too cool. Where did you ever come up with that idea? I thought perhaps it was the printable fabric that you sewed on, but shrinky dinks? Way too cool and it will survive washings too!! You are so clever!!!

Oh My Gosh! Ladies- I LOVE your aprons! You all are so talented! I am going to have my mom give me some sewing lessons while home (I hope) maybe I will have an apron to show for it by the time I am back from Wyoming. Wow...I am just going to sit here and drool over the aprons for a little while

I made this Apron for my friend Stacy in NJ. She is a soapmaker friend(who I met on the Internet years ago, and now we visit at least once a year and I talk to every other day). Notice No pockets to fill with hot soap during a bad spill. But I made it reversible so it has a double layer of thickness protection because we play with hot oil and lye.I just love this fabric, the white is actually embroidery machine stitching over the rose pattern. the cream side is the same, but in cream.

Here are two little aprons I made tonight. These are for the dolly apron exchange.

Hope that KTKnits likes them. One is going to MJ according to Frannie. I still have some touch up hand work to do to them, but it is midnight and I am a bit tired, so tomorrow is another day.

Oh E, I LOVE your new reversible apron!! Tres Chic!!

Oh, I just love your little aprons, they look like they need a tiny rolling pin and little gingerbread man or a small pie to go with them.

I did one of mine earlier this weekend for Frannies swap...so much fun.

Now to get that photobucket fixed, still waiting for an email back from tech support.

Jessica, what a delicious idea!! I'll have to stop by Michaels and see if they have any miniatures. I know Ben Franklin's does! There is a story behind these two little aprons. I posted it on my blog. This is actually the second set of aprons that I did! Thanks for the idea for accessories for the dolly aprons!! Would love to see yours too!!

Here are some more of Jessica's aprons. I'll let her tell you about them. Her photobucket still isn't working and offered to help her out with the Apron Sew-A-Long posting. And I'm glad I did, these are such a treat to look at!!!

Gotta say Jess, these are beautiful and the little minis on the blue glass jars are incredibly pretty. Makes a really nice display!!

Thanks Georgann, I love love love those jars. I started collecting them after I got 3 from my grandma...blue, green, and brown. I have a lot now and they are in a lot of my windows...the aprons are so fun on them. I am glad you like it, too.

The chicken apron goes with the chicken applique from a few pages ago. Anyway...I am having fun with these, I am glad you like them.
