HAhaahahahahahahahahahaha...see, you know where I am coming from, and it doesn't help that my husband is Italian...all we do is eat it seems...and it is soooooooooo good! i am glad I am not alone on this one. have you managed to stay out of your blog, too? I thought if I went in search of you there you might appear, but I cannot remember off the top of my head. I am usually just looking at all your terrific sewing projects! jess

Inspiration struck today. I should have been doing umpteen other things, but I saw this jumper hanging next to this shirt in my freshly washed thrifted items waiting to be repurposed and I guess it was like chocolate and peanut butter...........I'm still finishing the back side, but it has a criss cross strapping in the back and long ties of denim.

I combined a Talbots cotton jumper size 10 with a man's 100% cotton, medium Tommy Hilfiger shirt I think it is turning out really, really nice! I put oversized pockets on it for lots of goodies and I am using the shirt hanger from the outside yoke to be a towel holder. I am going to edge a small terrycloth towel with bias tape made from the shirt.

That is really different isn't it?
I like it.. really pretty..
Doesn't look like some of the other things we've seen lately though..
This one almost brings to mind something like a Laura Ingle Wilder at an Adult age maybe..
Doesn't it? i like it.. & YES!! THERE are pictures of George Ann on her blog.. you just REALLY have to search!! they are WAY back there!!
& she fibs.. She's a cutie too!!
& as for the "Gravity & the Girls" DID YOU SEE MINE in the picture?? Lopsided!! LOPSIDED women!
So.. photo ops are in order!
If Bev can be so brave as to stick her Aproned butt on a beach for us..
Then you all can at the very LEAST hide behind an Apron so we can see all of your beautiful smiles!!

( Yes.. i know.. Bev is definatly THE exception.. we can't ALL look like Skipper here.. *sigh...* .. But that was a bold move! I wouldn't pose on the beach in an Apron if it was over a snow suite too! )

Ok friends....and I do mean that. You have all become friends to me. I have never chosen my friends based on looks, size, shape or any other physical characteristic,,,believe me I think you all are the most beautiful women that I have ever known. I am sorry for asking for pics....but it is so nice when you think of someone...(and I think of you all often each day) to have a face to go with a name. Kathie....I was thrilled to finally know what you look like...now when you enter my thoughts, you have a face to go with that amazing personality. You all are so warm and caring and giving....truly beautiful people. So, ok, forget the pics....keep posting your aprons and the rest of us will just have to imagine........

Oh yea, Georgean....you did it again...phenomenal!!

Keep Smiling.....Bev

Ok, Bev, I feel like crying because I think your feelings are hurt. I'm sorry......:(. So here ya go. Please don't cry when you see my photo. You know farmgirls. I never like to look at myself in photos. But here I am just a few minutes ago after cleaning in the attic all morning, sewing all afternoon, helping my hubby re install the stairwell bannister in an unairconditioned house. This is me unplugged, no makeup, how I look everyday, oh, and I threw on an apron.

BBW.....big beautful woman!!!

Jess, you look great!! You've had how many kids? I don't believe it. You are gorgeous!!!

Ok, now I just have to design an apron that makes Fluffy look svelt...my new challenge by Autumn!! OR, perhaps I should just go back to Weight Watchers.

Elizabeth, he is precious and so are you for sharing with us! Oh, I am so happy tonight.....my friends have faces....don't know why that matters to me but it does and I am really so excited by all of this! Somehow cyberfriends can seem a little surreal, but now you are all so very real to me! Boy do I sound like a sap or what?!?
And........Congrats Elizabeth. I love babies....and miss those days. Can't wait for grandchildren!
Oh yea, Jess, I would never have thought you had all those babies....you look great!!
