Ladies all - how wonderful all your creations look! I love them all. I love sewing aprons too, but most times forget to put one on when I'm doing really messy stuff for some reason - guess I don't want to mess it up. You've inspired me to get back at it - have several pieces of fabric and one Farmgirl apron cut out - just have to sit down and put it together and not worry about doing anything else.

Great job everyone.

I actually think I figured out what 1/2 my problem is...I was at a friends house this afternoon, and I was looking at stuff on her photobucket account, and mine is missing stuff. I do not think my account works properly, I think I need to start all over and try again with a new account.

Or, I am just so challenged that I will never get it and blaming photobucket makes me feel better about it.

I am going to have to fix this situation, I have never been so stumped by something before in my life. jess

Kathie- Your picture made me think-Wouldn't it be lovely to look out your window and find aprons hanging on the branches like flouncy blossoms? You could just go pick the one of your choice and breathe in that lovely scent of sunshine! Now that would be a dream come true!!
I love all of the aprons that have been posted. I do not know how I missed this thread. Honestly, sometimes the fog rolls in and never rolls out. ;)

I had to show this to ya'll. I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to start an apron. I found this fabric at the Hobby Lobby last week and I couldn't -not- buy it. So here it is, I think I am keeping it for myself. My oldest daughter said I should when she saw it laying on the table this morning.

Aren't they fun?

i think i am haviny more fun with the aprons.. Both the regular US size.. AND the Mini's!! then just about anything crafty i have done in a long time..
i know one thing is that when i am making something.. i have to have quik.. instant gratification!!.. i KNOW that i'm impatient.. & if i was working on something that took for ever.. or i didn't see some serious progress being made.. i rpobably just wouldnt bother finishing it.. !
But the apron's just really move so fast.. don't they?? AND
Also.. i am having the best time with playing with the color combinations for the trims.. the ruffles.. the waste bands.. stuff like that.. i really love the whole color & pattren design part of this!!

For Mother's day.. & National Apron day , Nancy i think i ended up making something like.. 12 Aprons or so maybe.. if i count the ones i made for the girls at work.. the Moms.. & my Sisters & neices that i did.. .. those are some of them hanging in the tree..
i liked them.. & they are really cute.. The ruffles are fun..
But see what i mean about that unfinished look? why that serger i'm SURE would be a very good thing on these particular aprons??

The ones i am doing right now are still skirt types. but a bit diffrent.. & more tailored looking.. my favorites now of course!!
& the style of the one i am giving away in the contest!!

Here are two of the mini aprons I made today. They are 4-in. wide at the waistband and 7-inches long to the hem. I do hope they are not too big!! I can clearly see where these can easily become an addiction.

Michelle- I love the little chickies! Such a happy fabric and a cute apron.
