Hey, how did Georgann win when you're using MY name, Lucy??!! Life is just NOT fair
WAAHHHHHH!!!! ROFL!!
I love Jessica's full name~it just rolls off the tongue so smoothly, although, she sure does live up to her middle namesake, doesn't she? Jessica Lucille La Bella. Her sister plays "Ethel" to her "Lucy" I'm betting. LOL

OK, you girls, I haven't made an apron recently but I was having serious envy looking at all your photos. So I finally stopped at JoAnn on the way home from work, and not only did I load up on apron fabric, I ran into a coworker who retired 5 years ago and is now working at JoAnn's!! She actually quit, didn't have her 30 years in, and now she is working and having a blast. She used to be an accountant, but now she is "snowbirding"- she works here in the summer and in Florida at a gift shop in the winter.

It was great to see her and it is only because of you all that I ran into her.

Also, I want to thank you for making me blow my budget! I got flower pots and vases and yarn and fabric and rick-rack and binding tape and one of those Clover bias tape makers and a wire egg basket and some toggle closures for sweaters, all on clearance except the rickrack.

You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands - You shall be happy and it shall be well with you. -Psalm 128.2

Kim, we talk about aprons, compulsive fabric buying, obsessive treadle machine hording, How Old I am and anything else that is of interest or strikes your fancy. Pretty easy going group. If you are a night owl, you will probably find Jess and me hanging out, and posting lots. Pretty much anything goes.... these are fun girls!

alrighty,....heres my version of the wrap..

only problem I had...is I didnt measure when I put the waistband/tie on.....haha...so it ended up tying at the hips..instead of the waist...i "fixed" the problem though...just put in a horizontal tuck on each piece...haha..one of my aunts will get it for christmas....thank goodness they know nothing about sewing....hahaha....

OK, Jessica, I will show my aprons but I have to bring the fabric in the house from my car first! Maybe tomorrow I will photograph the new fabrics.

The cell phone cover is GREAT! I dropped my phone twice and, voila, no new scratches!
