my goodness! i have several pages to read through and i was just on here yesterday!

Bev...as usual, great apron and fabric!

i have got to get to sewing. i cleaned off my cutting table yesterday (it was the overflow for the new "classroom" area for the kids) and we had friends in from spain last night, so my house is spotless (and my body is aching from all the cleaning!). so with everything in order, i should be able to get an apron out, right? oh yeah, i still have a 4 1/2 year old and a 21 month old running around. maybe during nap???

Bonne....would love to see your husband as Bridget Bardot! LOL....what an image!

Thanks for looking at my apron gallery..........I've added another slideshow below the aprons, just a few of the windows and bulletin boards I've done at the girls's school and some costumes I've made.

Keep up the good work young Mommies!! Menopause comes all too soon in a woman's life........I still can't believe I'm on the other side of it now..........I still have two in elementary school. I think I belong in the apron museum though! LOL

thanks for the encouragement girls! the kids are about to go down for a nap. i just gave my second bath of the day already-it involved a little girl using her big brother's toy sailboat to get tee-tee out of the potty. nice. real nice.

georgann-i love the gallery. especially the "books rule" window at the school. it is great!

Georgann you are one amazingly talented and creative woman!! Unbelievable. When I die, I want to come back as one of your girls! The slideshows are way too cool...you are really getting very technical here!

Ok, I still think I am way too young for menopause, although my birth certificate and mother would tell you otherwise. But, it does have its benefits....although I am trying to find them. Actually, no period is truly liberating!!!! But the rest.....well......oh, hold on, I have to go take a cold shower...I'm havin a heat flash!

I make children's aprons by the dozen..every kid i know or have ever met or seen more than one time has an apron that i made...people love them...especially if you make the back layer out of pul material and market it as fun for use with water tables and painting and crafting!!

There is a pic of my generic boy one on the childs apron thread here!

Bev,,

My idea if I could ever get started sewing aprons!!!! Something else always interferes with that plan, right now anyway. Is to sew "Mommie & Child" apron sets that look alike or atleast out of the same fabrics.

This is not a new idea...LOL As we decided last week. "There is nothing new under the sun".

So that's another thought for you to ponder..And I would say that just the children's aprons alone would be winners especially how Jess suggested to market them.

Another idea I would like to try one day would be the "tea aprons" for children and include a small circular or square tablecloth, coordinating placemats and cloth napkins and market it as "Tea Time" ensemble for your imaginative child. I think all little girls like to play "teatime"..oh, and you could set up a little table to show how cute it all is.. So that's another idea for you to ponder.

It just seems to me that the dressup, imaginary creations will appeal to the mom looking for fun ways for their child to entertain themselves

I took the melatonin last night and dreamt that I murdered someone....RITFLOL So I'll give it a good chance and see what it does to me. If I murder another person tonight I would say I don't need to be taking it. I will definitely watch for depression that it could cause..thanks for mentioning that Georgann.

I'm really on the verge of going to a regular doctor and getting a script for a low dose sleeping pill...Georgann, do they make one that will let you wake up NOT feeling drugged??

Glad some of you liked the "stuffed pumpkins"

Ok, off to get some work done! Talk to ya later, Stephanie

Stephanie, here is my nursing opinion. You have a couple of options....Ambien...gives a good night's sleep and will leave you refreshed in the AM...its effects last about 6 hours. Sonata is another one...it's effects last 3 hours. Lunesta lasts a full 8 hours but can leave you with a rotten taste in your mouth. These three do not generally leave you with a drugged feeling in the morning...just don't take too late at night.... There is always OTC Tylenol PM or just plain Benedryl. But if you are one of those weird people like me, it can wire you ( I tend to say really innappropriate things if I take Benedryl and it keeps me awake!....only fun for parties in that condition... LOL)
