Tasha, They do look comfy, I guess you just have to decide if you want new shoes or a new car by the looks of the price. That's a tough one, because having comfy feet is important, especially if you have to walk because now you can't afford a car. NANCY JO

I've had Simples before- so have my kids! They are very comfortable. Every now and then you can find them at Ross or T.J. Maxx! |

I have never worn them, but I like the origional clog. I like the amount of tread on them. About the price, I didnt think that $75 was too bad. I wonder how they wear. Dansko's are typically over $100 and Naots are about the same. But I have fallen in love with crocs... they are $30-$40 a pair and come in tons of fun colors. Even the flip flops are comfortable.
Try a pair, and tell us how you like them.

I had to laugh at $85 for a shoe that looks like it's made from a feed sack.
Maybe I've seen too many feed sacks.
Looks to cliche to me. But hey, if you like 'em, enjoy 'em. |

Are you getting the skater ones? I love simple shoes! When they first came out I was in college they were for Skateboarders. Now they have tons of styles, it's amazing. They have some that are called greentoe they are vegan etc. You can find them sometimes cheaper on ebay. I've had the tie ups(skaters shoes) and the clogs. They are great! I've been bidding on some but I keep missing the mark.

I like the sneakers (sugar) and the maryjanes (gt jane, especially the flower pattern). I like the recycled tires used as soles. The prices seem reasonable, but I don't know...I'd feel a little silly laying out $85 for such flimsy little flats (that's not a reflection on their quality, just what they are). For that kind of money, I expect to get a big honking boot that will last ten years. |

There are a few that I would buy/wear (they're pretty cute!), but they don't even make remotely close to my size (I wear a size 5), and it looks like they start at 7's. I can wear the kids it looks lik (size 3), but I need a little more "adult" color selection
I'll stick with my Dansko's. They were pricey, but my retired "dancer" feet really thank me for them!

see, i have no issue with the cost...the cost is very reasonable i think. i have crocs but those are for in the garden....and days when i am mostly in the garden but have other errands to run. i would rather spend large sums on good shoes instead of small sums on cheap shoes that will only last me 6 mos to a year.
i reallly just want to know how others like them. I will more than likely order them right from Simple, as we are hours away from a Marshalls.

Agreed. i don't mind paying money for something that will last. Unfortunately, I always pay top dollar for shoes of any sort because of my size. Have to buy them up before the OTHER size 5 in america buys them!
Has anyone here tried Earth Shoes?...I thought about those before I bought my Dansko's, but I have to admit, the whole non existent heel thing or whatever it is scared me out of it.

They are cute...I tend to wear crocs or my faithful birks..nikes if I need sneakers on. Comfort is what I am all about now. I do make my shoes last a long time..good to know of another company with good shoes.

I don't mind paying for good shoes, either. I live in Ariats. They average between $100 and $200 a pair, and one pair of field boots I have were $500. It seemed that, by appearance, the Simple shoes had some extra $$$ tacked on for their cachet, that's all.
Perhaps I'm just looking for the wear and durability of Amie's big honking boots.
Jonni, Earth shoes makes normal heels, too. They're a reasonably good value. A lot of riders like Danskos, too. I really appreciate a shoe that's good to the feet. |

I have two pairs...very old that I bought on clearance about 6 years ago. They are very comfy. I like the fact that the materials come from sustainable sources. I always say that you should buy good shoes if nothing else....afterall, our feet carry us everywhere....all day long. And...if your feet hurt, that is all you can think about!
