I found this site on an email I received from a mag. I subscribe to & thought I would share it. It is for a little boy named Shane. He has leukemia. His wish is to break the world record for receiving the most birthday cards ever. He would like to receive 350 million. His birthday is on May 30th. I thought it would be nice if we all sent him a farmgirl birthday wish.
Someone at my school found this, also, and we did an activity with our students this morning where they all made cards for him. If every student in our building did it, that would be another 1,400 cards! I hope he reaches his goal! Jennifer
Jennifer I will be he will love getting so many cards from kids. Looks like he is over 125,000 so far. A long way to go, but I think he can get there. I'll have to get my kids involved & have them mail some out too.
