Love the purple quilt and the owl towel! I am not getting anywhere near the amount of crafting time I thought I'd get this winter :( I'm going to have to schedule a sewing day!

Today I am working on a new quilt top, a quilted sweatshirt jacket, decorating and lengthening a denim skirt, and adding fabrics and slow stitching to a denim shirt. I jump from one project to another so I don't get bored. LOL!

I am trying to finish the skirt for our cruise.

Sylvia, that owl towel is beautiful!

Linda, I do the same thing! Jumping from project to project helps me to not get burned out. If I get burned out on a project, then it takes me forever to get started again. All your projects sound fun!

I started doing wax seal stamps for pen pal mailings. It's a lot of fun. I love the different stamps they sell.

My UFO of the month is to finish a queen-size quilt I started 10+ years ago. I spent the last week on the quilting. I got up bright and early to put the binding on but the cats had other ideas.

Joan, I love the wax seals! They make letters look so neat. I bet your pen pals enjoy them too.

Judith, hopefully your cats will start to cooperate with you so you can get your quilt finished. At least they love your quilt!

I also make cards, journals, and tags.
Recently I went through my bits and pieces of supplies left over from previous projects and made cards from those things.

These are just a couple of the ones I made. These cats just make me smile!

I also dabble a bit in "Junk Journals". I've made some as birthday gifts for friends.
This one is just 8 inches tall and 4 inches wide and it for me . . .with notes, tags, lace, pockets, bits and pieces of things from friends, including some farmgirls. It's 8 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches wide, about 24 pages or so. It's just for my own treasure.

I don't do these with just whatever. I want them to mean something to the person I'm making it for, so the materials I use are more personal.

Beautiful CJ. I love junk journals but haven't had the heart to do one since I got burned on an exchange.
