Apple pie Sunday has come and gone this year. I am drying apples today. We picked them up at the applefest on Saturday. I've never had v the Ida Rose but we also got some Jonathans. Look forward to dried apples this winter.

Beach trip postponed AGAIN. : ( Another low pressure and heavy rain for SC coast. I needed to do something with a pile of clothes I ignored too long. The pile was in a chair by bathroom door. It is true , flat surfaces attract stuff. I'm glad I finally cleaned up the pile. I found the car key that had gone missing. I clear my pockets before washing.
A very welcomed day of sunshine. And fleece jackets went outside to dry.

Today's good mood brought to you by a lot of coffee!!!

My right shoulder hurting. The spasms going across and under my right breast. I wont get to chiropractor til the 21rst. Tylenol , rest and cussing til then. The human body poorly designed as it falls apart by 50. I saw chiropractor and was feeling better I was outside lifting bags of soil and dragging the hose into garden. I flared up my upper spine. Too blustery to even sit outside, so by the window to soak up the day will happen. And maybe a nap

Sending healing hugs Tara. Try letting a hot shower pound on it and see if that helps.

Maybe the chiro can recommend some exercises that would help. I had shoulder issues a long while back. I went to therapy a few times and have some great exercises I can do. Really loosen up the shoulder and arm. I have been getting wood cut and in and boy that is a bit harder to do anymore. I go slow and steady. Tough to get moving in the morning though, lol.

Sure has been a struggle to heal from a muscle sprain/nerve injury that occurred almost 2 years ago. I did the PT stuff last year. I take tylenol and get on with I need to get done. I am stretching, some pilates and using ice, but my body isn't healing right.
My husband 5 years younger than me and he is in worse shape.

One thing I have noticed is things take much longer to heal and sometimes they never heal all the way. Tylenol is usually what the doctors tell us to take now and I haven't noticed that it does much if anything. My husband is 7 years younger than me and starting to develop dementia. We just have to stick together, be there for each other and hope and pray for the best..

What a wonderful way to look at life, your life Judith. My husband and I are the same age, 70, and we realize that we are both suffering from short term memory. I get so frustrated let me tell you. But like you Judith, hubby and I lean on each other and share how we are really feeling honestly.

My now retired GP doctor used to always tell me to just keep moving every day and don't spend a lot of time sitting or napping. Moving helps our bodies keep stronger and healthier.

Yes Winnie. I have to make myself get up and move because at this season of life it is easy to do things that require sitting.
