It's super wet and windy here. If it were just a bit colder I bet we'd have a wonderful blanket of snow. (It's supposed to switch to snow tonight) Good day for a big cuppa hot chocolate, a good book, and a little crocheting :) Not a bad way to end the year!

I am definitely looking forward to the snow Heather. I was hoping for a white Christmas but will take it whenever I can get it.
Wishing you all a very happy new year!

It's been spitting some flurries but nothing is accumulating :( At least it's supposed to be cold so the mud should stiffen up LOL!

Flurries can be so pretty too. It’s a New Year so your snow will come Heather and I can not wait for photos.

There is snow on the ground this morning and it should stick around as it is quite cold. We are supposed to have more Sunday! I am so happy to get it. I know some don't like it but I am a cold weather gal and it makes me happy.

How exciting Denise! I love the cold too and would love to see some snow. All of my neighbors are complaining that “they didn’t move down South for this kind of weather” LOL. The lows here all week are in the 30’s.

It's a high of 30 here today and Sunday and Monday are going to be the major snowfall days. Can you tell I love it! The kids are supposed to go back to school on Tuesday but not sure if they will have to or not. We have had them on and off since new years eve and I am loving it!

Isn't it wonderful Denise! I took some pictures but I'm too tired to upload them from my camera tonight.
Karen - I know how you feel - that's how we were until last night. It looked more like April than January.
Wanda - I couldn't live where there is no snow LOL! I don't think I'll ever retire to Florida :)

Yep, this is how it has felt lately. Much too cold to go anywhere, especially if you have to be outside for very long. So other then a few doctors appointments we have been sitting in front of the fireplace binge watching movies, playing multiple games of scrabble (Keith cheats) and doing jigsaw puzzles. Not a bad way to spend winter.

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

I’m so sorry, Julie! Tell Keith, no cheating!! lol. ;)! Games and puzzles are definitely great ways to spend the winter, especially in front of a fire! :)

Well I know I'm the oddball (or maybe menopause) because I love the snow and cooler days!

LOL! That's a good one Julie!

There was a new baby bull calf in the barn this morning, and I'm counting on another one tomorrow morning. The mama cow is showing signs of early labor :)

Julie, this makes my heart happy! That sounds like a wonderful way to pass the winter! We usually have a SkipBo contest going and keep track of games won. Brad almost always wins for the month and I tell him that he cheats, also!
Praying for you both and that Keith continues to get stronger and healthier every day!
