Please keep Our Wildflowers Debbie Klann, April Tovar and their families in your prayers. The fires are close to both of them. They may have to evacuate so they will be safe.
So please, please keep them and all families in your Heart, thoughts and prayers. We will stay strong for them. And of course all of our Firefighters and Wildlife.

This is one Debbie post near Madras.

Here is a photo of the one close to April in Redmond.

And the Fire map of Oregon.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Yikes. May they have an abundance of firefighters, low wind, and surprise showers.

Hi everyone!
Things got kind of scary on Saturday night when the fire jumped the river and headed up the canyon towards the top where we live. The highway was shut down in 2 places. It got to within 5 miles of us and was moving pretty fast. Prayers were answered and the wind shifted and it turned the other way! We had had crazy wind all day and I know it was making the firefighters' job even harder.
The fires on the fire map are merging together...and we are right in the center, but I feel like we are safe right now. There are a lot of fields between us and the fires...plus tractors with discs and water equipment.
We just heard today of 3 people who have lost their homes in the fire by Warm Springs. I know that they and the firefighters would appreciate our prayers....and prayers for rain! Brad swore he heard on the radio yesterday morning that there was a chance of a shower soon so fingers crossed!!!
We were in Redmond yesterday and it was clear skies. I believe that our April is safe and sound as well!
This has been the worst fire season that we can remember....very sad...here are a couple of pictures taken from our house.
