The weather is gorgeous here today, just a perfect day.
But here we go again.
As we care for our Big Bella who has somehow hurt her leg, we hope and pray to St. Francis patron saint of animals that she will be alright. But it does not look good as she is in so much pain and it hurts her to walk. We will continue with our Hospice Care for as long as we can and as long as she has a quality of life. We gave her bed in front of the Slider so she can smell the fresh air and watch outside. It will crush all of us to loose her but it will hurt Kent so much more as she is his dog:-(
The vet has given us strong pain meds to help us. She is still eating, drinking water and there is still lots of light in her eyes-:)
Have a Beautiful and Peaceful Weekend Wildflowers.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Oh Boy Heather,
Those would be so good with my coffee right now.
Debbie I am so sorry you lost your big Bella, it leaves such a hole in our hearts when we loose our fur babies. Something happened to one of our barn cats (we are thinking a coyote got her, as we have seen a couple in the yard on the cameras) she had a litter of 3 kittens who had just opened there eyes. I started bottle feeding them and unfortunately I lost 2 of them, but the third one is thriving and starting to terrorize the dog and anything else that gets in her way. I haven’t named her yet, since I didn’t want to jinx her, but now I need to think of a name. I will get a picture of her and take farmgirl suggestions.

Aw Julie that's sad about the kitty. I'm glad you were able to save one of the babies.

I’m so sorry, Julie. It’s so hard to lose our furry friends. This little baby is adorable! :) I would name her Gizmo! But, please don’t send her my way…I’m seem to be very high on the cat distribution list!!! Lol

Julie - I know just what you're dealing with! Here's my little bottle fed terror:

Looks ferocious doesn't he? LOL! I call him Little Bit. I bet he'd have a blast with your little one. If your kitten acts anything like mine you could call her Shadow. Not just because she's mostly black, but because she follows you everywhere! Little Bit loves to be wherever I am :)
