Thank-you Denise! I wish Lilacs grew here in Florida because they are beautiful and fragrant. Right now we have our Wisteria blooming and it is pretty and smells lovely too.

Happy April to everyone and I hope those of you who have had a long cold Winter will see Spring's arrival soon!

Winnie, wisteria is so pretty and so fragrant. In NJ we had in growing all through the trees in our woods. Smelled wonderful.

I love lilacs! I have a a Korean Lilac outside my craft room office window. It smells heavenly. It blooms later (late April to early May) than the regular lilacs.

I can’t wait for the lilacs to bloom. We are under a blizzard watch starting Tuesday-12 to 18 inches of new snow and wind gusts of 50 mph. I won’t see my spring flowers for awhile. Mother Nature has been in a bad mood this year.

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

Thanks girls. It is just starting to snow. We made a town run yesterday to pick up our taxes, grocery shop and do a few farm errands. I wanted to get a few new baby chicks, but TSC didn’t have the variety I wanted. I will check next time I am in town. I have a few projects on the sewing table to work on and my sewing room could use a good clean up. Thank You Winnie for the sweet Easter basket and card. I love your woven hearts.

Julie, what insanity is it that you are getting another bad snow storm this late in the season??? And what about poor Easter Bunny trying to fill easter baskets this weekend??? Does everyone leave a little heat lamp out with some fresh cooked carrots and a bowl of warm water??? Inquiring minds down here in Florida where we are going to hit 90 for a few days! That is insanity on our part! We are going to have to leave out a pan of ice water and crisp chilled carrots! Poor bunny is going to have to navigate bitter cold with way too hot all in one night. You are most welcome for your card too!

I think the Easter Bunny is really going to struggle hiding those eggs this year. The 9 year old grandson was being a little cheeky yesterday, bragging to his 4 year old sister how he was going to find all the eggs since they would be so easy to find in the snowbanks. So my daughter and I decided we were just going to boil a dozen white eggs and hide those outside for him. It might take him awhile to find all 12. 10 new inches of snow this morning and 50 mph winds to rearrange it. Good day to stay
inside and work on projects.

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

Julie, you have a great plan for the little egg hunters! Wow, I can't believe all the new snow you got and those bad winds for early April. Yes, the poor Easter Bunny sure has his work cut out for him. He is going to need an army of young rabbits to get er' done out there!!

Meanwhile it was 93 today and right now, the clouds rolled in and it is still, sticky, and hot! Crazy weather for us this year!!

The white egg idea is brilliant, Julie!! I love it! Please share how that goes.

Winnie, I’m so sorry that you are on the opposite end of the weather issues. Stay cool, friend. :)

Julie. Our weather was much like yours. I'm going to suggest that to my cousin on her farm. They have tons of snow. What a creative challenge!
