Hi Debbie, I was lucky enough to get outside yesterday, my fur baby and I walked with a friend and her fur baby, it was gorgeous and warm. I tried to soak in every warm sunray I could just in time for our next cold spell! I'm sure some of our farm gals would laugh at us saying 54 degrees is warm, but compared to 17 degrees, its tropical here on our high desert! Cheers to more winter snuggles by the fire place with a good book and a cup of tea!

I was going through a recipe book this morning, which was compiled of recipes from my grade school (my mom had saved it all these years and sent it to me a few years back) any who... there was an ice cream recipe in this recipe book which was made from snow!! We have snow and ice on the ground today, but not enough to make me feel like I was getting clean snow! Funny timing! And, Hannah, yes, I remember that punch!!! Loved it as a kid!!! :-)

I'll take some too! We've got just a little dusting on the ground that fell today. It's finally going to be below freezing this week but there's no snow in the forecast :(

Just catching up on all the posts.
Heather, I'm like you with the snow. If we are going to get it I want a bunch. Here is a photo of our neighbor's snowman.

It lasted two days but rained the third day and looked like this.

We've only had a little dusting of snow since. Now it is just cold here.

I can't believe it is 67 degrees here right now. But the wind is really blowing so no point in trying to do anything outside today.

We're suppose to be 60 today, I'm so excited to get out in the yard and do a little trimming, but we're back to 40's tomorrow and the rest of the week. These teaser days are brutal!

It really is beautiful now that a short rain passed through this morning. It reached 73 but is quickly cooling down now. It is so nice to open the windows for a while to let in the fresh air.

A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

We are back in the 40s today with 67 again by Thursday. Along with the warmer temps comes rain. So weird for February.

Yes, Spring is in the air here on the Oregon coast. It is getting so green and flowers starting to bloom.
Yesterday I skipped out of PT 20 minutes early as it was warm, the sun shining bright and I just wanted to be outside!

I wish it were so here but it will be Easter before we get any warmer temps like that.

We are under a winter weather watch after being 60 yesterday.
Ice pellets coming down! It’s harder now!
