I know the company that makes these cute mugs and I used to have one. They are enamelware and the handles get too hot when you put coffee in them but they are so cute and fun to look at.

I did enjoy it but didn't get to be in there long. I am hoping to get my project done today though. It is part of my swap.

Today we went out to get a few groceries and on the way back I popped into hobby lobby real quick to see if they had something I needed. They did and at half the cost of Amazon. I also found something else I wasn't looking for but had saved in my cart on Amazon. It was also half the price! Sometimes it pays not to shop online!

Darlene, thanks for your interest. My classes are mainly related to clinical therapy and theories of psychology. So much to learn but so interesting.

Marilyn, congrats to you granddaughter for returning to school. All the best

Did take the day off on Saturday and went to Rhinebeck with Pumpkin for the Woolstock, sheep and wool festival. It was such a lovely day.

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend.

Cheers!

Carole that sounds wonderful! I was going to take classes again but sure about my other knee and hip.
I would love to be a physical therapist but that isn’t going to happen! Clinical therapy is great too! Good luck and enjoy it!
Take care a Carole!

I love you all!

Everyone here was prepared for a frost but it doesn't seem like we had one. I hope my mums can withstand it on the porch. We have small roof and they are under it but it is open so I don't know if the frost would get or not.

I meant to take a picture to post. Will have to do that when I go out to water them today.

Hope everyone is able to enjoy some cooler temps these days.

Denise one of the weather watchers on you tube was saying major snow all across the Ohio area, both sides around the 20th. So can you move your mums indoors?

Well barely into the 40s yesterday and by Sunday we are looking at mid 70s. Not complaining, cold will be here soon enough.
Busy day out of the house today. This morning heading out to work for a couple hours and then errands, volunteer at the school book fair and ending the day celebrating our youngest daughter's birthday. No playing in the craft room today. Tomorrow will be at the book fair almost all day. Might get in there on Friday for a bit.

Oh Denise, I too loved book fairs!
Weather...I did not look early this morning, but at 9:30am it was only 47 degrees. The forecast says tonight...around 35°. That is for town. We are usually cooler. This year we have no plants to protect! It was so dry and droughthy HOT. Nothing survived.
Oh, and the people I've been paying attention to, not any weather people, just folks...are saying we are only one to two weeks ahead of the cold.of winter.

We were bust today with the kiddos. They said they took in over 10,000 dollars over the 3 days of the fair. I bought some birthday and Christmas gifts from there.
When I came home I put my flowers back on the porch. Supposed to be close to 80 and couple days this weekend. Here is the photo of my porch I told Marilyn I would share.

Thanks everyone! It is not a very big porch but I enjoy decorating it.
Karen, I liked the blue color too! I think it may have been red before because of other things the previous owner left behind. I don't know if they changed the door or just painted it.

Hard to believe October is almost gone. The picture I shared of that beautiful tree is now a wonderful memory. The rain and wind on Tuesday night took down all its leaves. I have pressed a few.

Working on a journal for my granddaughter's birthday in a couple of months. She didn't see the one I made for my oldest granddaughter but hers will be a bit different. Different subject matter.

Here's a quote about October I thought you would enjoy.
Have a happy Thursday, everyone! Enjoy the last of these October days!

"October—the true heart of autumn . . . the perfect blend of daydream and reality, with amazing weather, a beautiful quiet, and soul-calming breezes which lead the way to the comforting slow-down of the year."
~Terri Guillemets

Denise that is beautiful!
Thank you and good morning everyone!
Our weather if it is normal, who knows will start changing to the better for the next few months to less fog, and more blue sky and summery type weather. I hope. ;)
Have a good day!

Hello everyone,

Hard to believe that October is almost done! OMG, time is flying!

School a kept me out of trouble. It's intense to say the least. Of course working full time just adds to that intensity. I'll be honest, this working full time while going to school full time is getting old! I'm exhausted. I cannot wait for the winter break.

Pumpkin and I have attended a couple of Sheep and Wool Festival. A few weeks ago we met up in Vermont for their festival. It was my first time attending a sheep and wool festive. I'm hooked. I just love it! It was such a lovely day too! A couple of weeks ago we went to Rhinebeck for the NY Sheep & Wool Festival. That is the Mecca of yarn/fleece. So many wonderful people, so many designers walking around. It's so huge. Lots to see. It was actually overwhelming! So much beautiful unique yarns from small farmers. I love that, it's my favourite type of yarn. I want to know where the yarn comes from, the sheep etc. The weather was gorgeous too! Did buy a book and had a chance to talk to the author. Wonderful gal.

It's a great book. I'm all about supporting the small farmer.

That's pretty much it for me.

Cheers!
