My granddaughter and I spent the afternoon raking and trying to get ahead of the leaves a bit. It has been dry and they are falling fast already. As much as I love these sunshine days I think we are in need of a bit of rain.

Beautiful picture, Denise! The leaves here are beginning to change here. We are due to have heavy winds until 9:00 pm (Pacific Time) tonight. It will be interesting to see what’s left in the morning. :)

That usually takes a lot of them Karen.
I started now because we always have a lot of leaves and I'd rather not do them all at once. Lol. The tree in the picture has started to lose some. We were watching them fall as we were raking. They are so dry when they fall that I can't press any.

Hello.

School started at the end of August and I will admit, it's been insanely crazy busy. Working full time and going to school full time does not leave me with much spare time. I did not anticipate time to re-acclimate to the academic world. But, I think I'm getting the hang of it. It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one struggling with the schedule. These young whimper snappers (most are not working full-time) are having just as much difficulties adjusting! lol

Haven't done much, except study. Everything seems to be on the back burner. I do pick up my knitting every know and again. It truly keeps me sane.

We've had some gorgeous fall weather.

Off to write a paper due next week.

Cheers!

Carole, our 25 year old grand daughter will return to school as well. Since high school she has gotten an associates degree in math and science, a license to work in Nursing homes, her RN then her bachelor's degree. Now she wants to be a Nurse Anesthisis.
Her baby is running towards his second birthday also.
She has lupus and is only the 61st person, world wide, to be diagnosed with a smooth stomach. ( I never knew our stomachs had ridges in the walls to grind and move our food. )
Her tummy has always been a problem, but one of the doctors she works with, decided to run some tests on her, because she was sick with a belly aches so much. That is how he discovered what her problem really is. Sadly the meds made her tummy hurt even more.
