| It's a regular winter wonderland outside. It has been snowing since this afternoon. Coming home from class tonight we saw 3 cars in ditches along the way. We were fortunate to be following a snowplow just about the whole way. |

| We are having a weekend with nothing by slow steady rain with breaks for awhile before it starts again. As of this evening, we have 2 inches and rain is forecast until tomorrow morning. This is a nice steady, slow rain that soaks in which we have needed for awhile. With sandy soil, these slow rains allow more moisture to be absorbed which is always a good thing. |

| We had some bad winds. I have some jade plants in 2 foot high and wide ceramic planters and it blew one of them over. It was sunny for a while today but now the dark clouds have moved in and it's starting to rain again. |

We are having a wicked storm here! Hard winds are supposed to becoming and more rains and the Eel river may be rising.
It’s rained all day!.

We had a rainy stormy day all day yesterday. The sun peeked out just before it was going down.
Last night was a bit worse. We had a bad storm with lots of wind and a tornado watch. Thankfully no warnings but there were two tornadoes that touched down north of us. One a little northwest and one a bit farther north. Grateful we had no damage here. |

We are supposed to be having another sunny day today..
I am looking forward to that blue sky . We will eventually get the fog and rain but not yet.
That’s our normal weather so I am enjoying the beauty of it for now. Not warm but beautiful!

Never sure what to expect anymore. We've had warmer temps, rain, tornado watches, not unusual for this time of year, snow, hail and all in this week.
Tonight we have a freeze warning with it warming to almost 70 by Monday then rain the rest of next week. It's going to be soggy but hopefully normal spring temps with the rain. |

| Crazy weather; we had 72 high one day and 50 the next. I just hope this isn't going to be one of those years where we skip Spring and go directly into Summer with no time to get used to the heat. |

| We had a cold front pass through after a good rain on Wednesday where we got 2 inches. It has been sunny skies, low humidity and chilly nights and very cool days. It has been really nice. This next week, we might be up to the mid 80s with increased humidity by Wednesday so things are about to do some big changes. After that, who knows what. We have had a roller coaster of weather for the past 3 months but nobody down here is complaining because hot weather will move in soon enough and stay until November. |

We had a so-so day. A little wind, a little sun, a little cool.
I had a visit from my son; he just returned from Columbia visiting his fiancé. I guess I'd better get busy re-learning Spanish. |

| Well it seems summer is coming in on a heat wave. We are in for mid to upper 90 degree weather all next week. Yesterday and today in the upper 80s and then Friday is 82. Our electric bill is already a bit high and next week is going to make it worse but I am grateful for a.c. I know some of you would be glad for these temps in the summer especially you all who hit the 100s regularly. I'll be hanging out in the basement/craft room next week for the most part |

| We're already having the 100s. Don't like it at all. Supposed to be 90s next week. Yes -- sky high electric bills. I guess I shouldn't complain as May was full of glorious 80s and no heat or a/c was needed. Open the windows and door at night and close them in the morning. |

| Darlene -- yes it's hot in the valley. My sister lives in the Bay Area and sometimes sends me alerts that the fog is in so we can expect some cooling the next day :-) |

Well, we left 90 degree weather in California and came home to the same, just with more humidity.
Today they were here at 6:30 am to strip the old shingles off the roof, remove the underpinning wood underneath, fix the damaged trusses, and start putting on the new roof. Right now we have a huge section of the attic open to the skies. Our roofer wanted to do this today and tomorrow since more rain is predicted for Sunday-Tuesday, They will finish the roof tomorrow and work on the gutters and when outside work is done they will start on the inside. What a mess! |

Linda I hope you enjoyed your trip here in California.
It’s supposed to still be hot inland here.
Our weather here on the coast stays pretty much the same here if it’s hot inland we get overcast or fog here. I guess a long time ago it used to get really foggy here but not so much since I have lived in Loleta. That could change though. It’s going to be in the 50’s today.
This works for me because I can’t stand the hot too long at a time but do enjoy it when I do.
