I've been thinking since the apple swap will be going on over on the main forum in the near future, it might be nice to have another hen house swap before that.
It would be nice to just do a swap of things you think would give your partner a lift after this hot summer. I think we all need a lift once in a while and it's nice to know someone is thinking about us.
So let me know if you are interested and would like to be included.
**Sorry, I forgot to add any dates for this so, here they are**
Sign ups until August 25th, partners posted the 26th and mail out will be the 7th of Sept.
We will be doing a round robin so you will send to one person and receive from another:

Winnie,
I received the wonderful package you sent. Everything was done up so sweetly. Thank you for everything. Can't wait to put out the towels and try that soap. Love the cobbler print on that cute little bag. Did you make the bag the soap was in? The lotion smells good too!
The Apple butter and tea and jellies will be nice for treat time. Coasters always come in handy and will be nice to use when I have tea with my pie on Apple pie Sunday! Thank you for such a great swap package. I imagine I'll have help with the jellies.

| Denise, I am happy that you enjoyed my little late summer gathering of goodies!! The Mercier orchard bag was saved from using the mix that came inside of it in a plastic bag. I got it at the Mercier Apple Orchard store up in north Georgia 2 years ago when I went with my friend in late July. Hehehe, like you, I can always count on 'HELP" with anything sweet in my Farmgirl swaps!!! LOL!! I would be interested in how my apple butter compares or differs from yours? I know you make it in a crockpot which is easier that standing and stirring it on the stove for about an hour. Is the thickness of mine thinner or about the same as yours? It is definitely thinner that what I can purchase in a store, but I like my spice level better. Some apple butters are so heavy with cloves and while I like cloves, a little goes a long way for me. |

| Winnie, mine is a bit darker and doing it in the crockpot makes it thicker I think. It's darker because of the spices. I haven't opened it yet. Saving till I finish my wild plum jam you sent. I have it on biscuits or toast but have been using it sparingly so it will last. |
