Marilyn my big rosemary died several years ago and then the small one two years ago. I have replaced them with 14 creeping rosemary along both sides of sidewalk to front porch. Two are in containers. I keep them in bounds by snipping them for cooking, vinegars, and medicinal teas.

Rebecca leaves for Oregon Sat so she, Betty, and Bobbie are coming to my house at 10 for a visit and lunch. They will pick up lunch from Catfish King.

Marilyn, here in Paris Kelly's fruit/veg stands and Atwoods Farm & Ranch store has them. Don't know about other places. I hope you find them because I think they are perfect for containers and small beds.

Ed and I went to the National WWII Museum in new Orleans today. If any of you are ever in New Orleans, it is a must. The museum is great.

Connie, my mother and two of her sisters were Rosie the reviter gals too! They worked in an aircraft factory near LA. Daddy was stationed in California.

I love that Marilyn! My Granny worked at Fischer Aircraft in Memphis! She got an invite to go to Washington DC for the Rosie memorial Service in 2004 I think, but she was too sick to go. She had Pancreatic Cancer. They sent her all the Papers and a certificate.

Oh so cute! Little lamb's are so cute...but they love roses.
Horses are magnificant, very large animals! I love talking to them as I clean up a bit and dump and fill their water buckets.
We now have five little colts all born this year and one more will be born soon. Then there is Miss Nellie. She is a one year old who was terrified of me for two weeks after her trip here from Kansas. My son loves horses...He always has.

Connie, a bit more about WWII. Mother said the parking lots were covered with camo netting. They were afraid of being bombed by the Japanese. I have always wondered if it was even possible for those Japanese zeros to carry enough fuel to fly across the ocean.

Love are adorable little babies Connie! I saw your horse picture on Facebook.

I am hoping to acquire a dwarf goat. We have been looking. Of course it would be a pet! I had one growing up. His name was Max and he was the sweetest little guy.

If you remember back a couple or three months ago...my son had the third baby colt born this year. Usually he only breeds three...but this year there were six mares that were allowed time with a stud. (You know one of those supervised visits!)
Now there are five babies the youngest is three weeks old and she is most visible in the top photo. The larger one is the little stud colt. He has delighted everyone with his playfulness.

Lucky, our border collie died this afternoon. She was old, probably about 16 years old. Since she came as a stray we really don't know. Each night as I went to take my shower or move wash from the washer to the dryer...there she was waiting by the back door for her treats. I would get her jerky treats and her medicine jerky treat. Then when I gave them to her I would tell her I loved her and that she was my sweet puppy! Night before last was her last treats. She would not eat last night not this morning. Then when I looked for her about 1:30 when I returned from the barn, she was not in her usual napping places. I called her but she did not come. Now I know why. When my husband came home about five he asked if I fed her or tried to. I told him I could not find her so he went to look. Sure enough, he did. Then I called our son for help. He dug a big deep hole then he laid her in the space, lovingly placing her head and paws so she looked comfy. Then he put her cover over her and began to fill the hole. I had texted Hadlee, she arrived in time to say good bye, she had loved Lucky since she was five years old. Sad end to a beautiful day.
