Maryellen so happy you want to read my little story. I have you down.

I checked my list of names for the first story I sent and I didn't send it to you. If you would like to receive it "The Egg Basket Mystery" I will send it today.

Linda got you down. This is a new story. I hope to have it finished by the weekend. First victim has been found and identified. That's as far as I have gotten.

When I write I usually know all the whos and whys. This story I have no clue. I have no idea who the killer is or who the next victim will be or the motive behind the murder . Every time I sit down to write it's like I'm reading the story for the first time. I have no idea where it's going or what Pearl will do along the way. The only thing certain is somehow - someway she will get her man or could be a woman.

Linda, I bet your quilt is gonna be awesome!!

I am going to start sewing Lily June some skirts again for the Spring and Summer. They were so easy to slip on with a little tank top!

A few days ago, I decided to get some scraps of material and make some cloth bags for produce to help get rid of plastic. Yesterday, I used them and it worked out really good. The bags are not anything special to look at, but they work very well. I am going to look up the badges and see if I can work on a new one with this project. I have done a couple of other things that relate to recycling as well.

Here are my large cloth bags and new produce bags all in a basket for the car. No more bags flung here and there in the back seat anymore! Organization feels good because it has been bugging me to keep my larger bags in better order and easy to grab.

Love your bags. I keep recyclable bags in the car and forget to take them into the store with me. I have a perfect basket - looks like yours; I will steal your great idea!!

Winnie like your bags and basket. I have a linen bag I keep organic carrots in the fridge.

When I shopped for groceries I kept my re-usable bags hanging on the doorknob where I went out or in the front passenger seat. Anywhere else I forgot them. I still have them but they're so worn I can't give them to anyone so they just hang on a doorknob on a door that is always left open so they are out of the way. Space behind an always open door is a wee closet and I use it as such.

Linda I checked my stories and you have all of them. The Rose Rustlers is not finished and I may not get back to it until next fall if ever. I do much better with shorter stories.

Winnie , love the bags!!
Sara, this is the post where I missed signing up for your stories!

I found some precut packages of fabric at Wal-Mart for kids. 1 yard each. Lily June loves Shopkins! took about and hour to make this little skirt. Most important, it has a Pocket! I found her a pair of pink leggings for only $3.88 at Wal-Mart to go under it for cooler days. In the summer, she loves a tank top and these little skirts and some crocks! Marilyn and Mine favorite shoes!, Lily June too!

Lily June is going to give her Grammy a big hug! Hey you may even get a slobbery kiss! Little ones love pockets and bags almost as much as their toys! Thanks for making me smile and take a mental walk down memory lane!

Connie that's the cutest skirt.

Got up at four this morning and have been working on my story. Must say I like this story and the way it is going.

Well this is my project, an apron for my older grand daughter made from the legs of my son's jeans. He is her daddy. I must wet the edges and toss it in the dryer to curl the Denim. I have already made one for Hadlee. Two more to go.

Those are so cute, Marilyn. I'd love to see a full view of the aprons. Looks like one uses the reverse side of the jeans? I love the flowers, too - they will also fray after washing.
