I am thinking about crocheting some pumpkins this year. I've never made them so I will have to see how one comes out.

I have crocheted a pumpkin shaped dishcloth, but not an entire pumpkin. I have made fabric pumpkins, though. I did find 2 crocheted pumpkin doilies in a pack for $1.00 at Dollar General They are cute! I bought one pack. I may buy more. Trying to decide what to use them for - I am thinking of sewing one onto a sweatshirt or long-sleeved t-shirt and stitching lines in the "grooves" of the pumpkin in black and adding some green leaves. If anyone doesn't have a Dollar General and wants some I can see how many they have and send them to you for cost plus postage.

Guess what! Tonight we had Hadlee's family birthday. First she opened her Bapas card...It held $$. Then she opened my card and then the box. She reached inside and said oh it's a blankie. I told her it was her favorite color! Then she got excited, stood up turned it right side up and held it up so everyone could see. That made my heart sing. I was so afraid she might be mad, after all when she gave me her bag of shirts to use as rags...and I did not do as instructed... But she loved it. She and her mom examined every memory. Even my son thought it was cool. Sister Baylee then asked if I would make one for her. I said I will. Had was loud...must be aftermath of her brain tumor. When excited her volume goes up. She got lots of nice gifts. Tomorrow she turns 19! Where did all those years go?

That's so neat. Marilyn. Now you have to make another one. LOL! You give me inspiration to make one of the 3 I want to make - Ed's t-shirts, my t-shirts, and one with t-shirts from our travels.

I forget, did you stitch in the ditch or tie this quilt?

Today I'm getting quilts ready for our quilt show in two weeks. Putting hanging sleeves and labels on. Waiting til the last minute to de-fur them. Had a minute of panic when I couldn't find the entry forms and couldn't remember if I was entering 5 or 6 but finally found them right where I had put them. Another senior moment...
